If anyone is wondering why there image suggestions might not be up for vote quickly its because I want to limit it a little. Ill be adding them all and keep in a text file so havnt forgot.
Might be a bad idea to have for example 20 a day added for votes. Could be overkill. Hope that makes sense. Look forward to more great art.

Everything getting discussed on Discord is meant to be lost over time, including discussions (interesting ones or not), main website submissions etc.
So, that being said, I think using the forums is much better when it comes to site modifications / community votes, important steps that should be noticed now, and later for archival purposes.
Not to mention, when you visit a new website, the forums activity is usually the best way to see how active it is... I don't go on Discord before reading the website first, and I don't think anyone does. So more activity on the forums should not be a bad thing to attract more people to participate with the community I think.
So that's just my opinion, but what bothers me about this is that for example,
Comix Zone (Genesis/Mega Drive) had a icon revision submission. Fair enough, but it hasn't been advertised neither on this topic, or on the game main's topic, which should be the first place to do it IMO (not to mention, if you posted on the topic / wall for whatever reason, you can get a mail to notify about new answers after you, that doesn't mean everyone concerned will be notified but it's better than nothing).About the votes, once again it's only happening on Discord, so if you don't feel like taking part to the discussion of checking the channel every day if a game you're concerned with happen to get a submission, you're gonna miss it.
I understand it's a new feature but I wanted to point these things to improve the community involvement overall, I don't really like Discord to be honest but that's not my way to point out where's the problem, I just think that integrated / external polls and submissions should be posted on the games dedicated topics. Discord is fine (and actually better) to talk about opinions about the said submissions and votes, not so much to take a final decision.

There has been information about this icon voting system that has been posted on this thread and elsewhere. If someone is very active on the forum Im surprised they didnt see this info. Cant keep track of every thread on forum so understandable. There is some things that might need adjusting Im sure. Like you said its a new feature.
Imo I feel most the activity is on discord when it comes to a lot of things involved with RA. Know one complains about aotw voting system being on Discord.
Maybe when forum v2 comes around things might be different. Wouldn't know myself not for me to say. It makes more sense to keep all the voting at one place like a discord channel over having to go through a bunch of different game threads searching for the votes. Unless as u said you get notified through your email. Think less people would vote in that case. I wouldnt want my email to get a ton of messages from every comment in a thread I follow. Talk about a mess.
Everyone on discord that votes makes the decision. Also doesnt mean its final. We can always run another vote of the same game. Once a image has changed does not mean its set in stone.
I feel its a better system then what there was before for updating icons and that was nothing far as I know.

Ive created this thread so others can post there own game icon(master badge) suggestions to keep things more clean. Also helps me in case Ive missed any.
Rules for suggestions to post here.
- The obvious one. Keep image related to game. No lewd graphics
- Post submission via this forum topic (Not PM/DM)
- No Fan art(deviant)
- Any user can submit new game icons.
- Only suggest icons for games that already have achievements.
- Recommended: Icons are best created at 32x32, 64x64 or 96x96. Create PNG image files for best quality.
- Optional: Original image source link.
- If text of title is added make sure its large.
Try to not double posts please. I always check older posts. That way we can keep it little more clean here.
Ill also be adding posts in this thread that are in the voting process of image suggestions that Ive got via PMs here and on discord. Not counting image suggestions shared here already. Hopefully that will help others that dont use discord much or at all. Will still need to use discord to vote of course.
If a suggested icon for a game has won a vote it can still be ran again.
