When I entered the sixth palace, the sprites got really glitchy, as if I had dust on the cartridge. Here's a screenshot:

The ROM for that was labeled b8. I then tried the o1 version, and it stopped that glitch from appearing.

With that version, I beat Barba, the sixth boss, and got all three of these achievements:
Bested Helmethead Bested Helmethead (25)
Bested Gooma Bested Gooma (25)
Bested Barba Bested Barba (25)

The two ROMs have the same checksum reported by the emulator, but the b8 .nes file is 3KB larger.

I was expecting an achievement for getting the hammer in Death Mountain. Oh well. ;)

Some achievement ideas for Zelda II:

1. Beat the game without dying

2. Beat the game without getting the Candle

3. Beat the game without dying & without getting the Life magic

4. Beat the game without collecting any Heart Containers (with only 4 boxes of life)

5. Collect all five 500 EXP P-bags

6. Beat the game without getting the Shield, Life, and Fire magics

7. Get C lives (after getting an extra life while having 9 lives, the lives counter switches to A, B, C, D... like SMB1)

8. Beat the game without collecting any Magic Containers.

Hi,

I can't get the boss achievements to pop for whatever reason. I'm attaching a snapshot of the end of my battle against Helmethead.

As you can see, the boss has been defeated; I am at full health, and yet, I didn't get the achievement. Any idea why this might be? If it's something that's happening to other users, it may be worth looking at.

You could be using a rom that has a different checksum and has slightly different memory addresses. It's happened to me a lot.

Took another stab at it. Until we have the ability to display multiple sizes I want something that will look visually clear even at 32x32:

Not quite:

I think it would look the best without the game title in the badge. Everyone who plays retro would know what game it is. The title kind of cramps it up imo.

Updated the rich presence to work properly with the Classic NES Series rom, here's a backup of the old script.

Could you do such achievement set for corresponding GBA game from Classic NES Series?

There was achievements for the GBA Classic series it was just an exact copy and paste it was voted to just get rid of it because there was almost no point to it.
