I'm going to try and attempt to make a set for this. I'm not familiar with Genesis games as I am with SNES and GBA, but playing this and mapping out some values already, this is extremely fun, especially for what seems to be just a combined Sonic 1 and 2. I still need to find some other values, but I could probably make a full set for this game.

Okay, that was quick. Found exactly what I needed to make a set. Although outside of actually making beating each level (and probably getting the emeralds) I don't know what else to do. If anyone else has ideas, that'd be great.

I am a huge fan of this hack, so I'm all for it getting some achievements of its own. Here are some achievements I can think of.

The Real Superpower of Teamwork-Beat the game with Team Sonic
-Beat the game with Team Chaotix
-Get a perfect in any level from Sonic 1
-Get a perfect in any level from Sonic 2
-Have Espio enter his idle animation while standing on a wall
Unbreakable Bond-Beat the game with any two characters with Chaotix Bonds on
Beast Mode-Beat the game on Super Dash mode (unlocked by inputting 4,1,2,6 on sound test, or by beating the game with all Chaos and Sol Emeralds)
-Get 100 rings
-Get 200 rings (Super Dash mode excluded on both of these, as you start with 99 rings in that mode)
-Get 10 lives
-Get 25 lives
-Get a score of 250,000
-Get a score of 500,000
Lava Master-Complete Marble Zone without picking up any Flame Shields
Water Master-Complete Labyrinth Zone without picking up any Bubble Shields
Just Like In The Old Days-Complete Green Hill Zone without using Spin Dash or any special abilities the characters have
-Beat the Green Hill Zone boss without standing on the platforms on the sides at all
Dry As A Bone-Beat Aquatic Ruin Zone without going into the water at all
-Beat the Aquatic Ruin Zone boss without standing on the arrows on the sides at all
Lucky-Get a jackpot in Casino Night Zone
Unlucky-Get triple Eggmans in Casino Night Zone
Gambling Addiction-Enter the slots 15 times in either act of Casino Night Zone
-Beat Scrap Brain Zone act 3 in under 30 seconds (using the shortcut)
-Defeat 15 enemies in a row without jumping in Sky Chase Zone (no Super Dash)

For the "Beat the game with X team" achievements, it should have to be done starting in Green Hill Zone in one session, as you can easily skip to the final level without a cheat code otherwise.

One thing I should say is that the hack isn't fully completed, so the achievements will have to be edited and new ones will have to be made for new releases. I hear new teams, more bugfixes (including level warp fixes), and even a make-your-own-team function are being developed.

Also, the Chaotix Bond achievement is for 2 characters and not 3 because the game is near-impossible to play with 3 characters in that mode.

I'm not sure how much of this is actually possible, and I want to avoid any special achievements that are in other sets.

Lava and Water Master would be if I could find the dang addresses for shields ... and I do like the "Just like the good old days" one, but again, not sure if that's actually possible.

I'll definitely see what I can do, though, and I plan on having an achievement for each zone with both teams, just because of how its set up, but I can do that.

EDIT: Apparently the address that's used for seeing if a level is active, resets if you die. I don't really understand how some of these values work, and its kind of frustrating, actually.

Alright, I've got a batch of achievements, and if the hack updates, then I'll update the list. I couldn't do everything you listed, mostly because I have no idea how much of it is actually possible, and I don't want to make any achievements that are already present in other Sonic sets either. As for Marble and Labyrinth Zone without the respective shields, you must do both from a hard reset, or Green Hill Zone must have been the last stage you have visited. I really don't think I could have done it either way. As for beating all stages with a team, make sure once you've finished the last stage, to look at your completed save. Again, I couldn't make a reliable way of doing that, and it was the only way it would work. This game is extremely weird with values sometimes.

Anyway, uploading the set now, and if anyone has any problems, please let me know (and if anyone knows better ways of fixing some of the achievements up better, that'd be great too. This was my first Genesis/Sonic set, and I'm still not too familiar with how it works.)

EDIT: ... okay, since powerup status values are used during the intro ... for some reason, I have "fixed" it. You must have at least some score for it to unlock. Okay, NOW hopefully everything works.

Played a full run, all Chaos and Sol Emeralds as Team Sonic. For some reason the Aquatic Ruin Zone achievement didn't pop for me, even when I went back a second time.

Also, I haven't tested this yet, but I think entering Hyper Mode in Labyrinth Zone makes you unable to get the Water Master achievement, because Team Sonic's Hyper Forms don't need air at all. If that is the case, then there should be a little note adding that entering Hyper mode will void the achievement. I'll edit the post later when I redo the zone.

Otherwise, the set worked pretty good. I loved getting achievements for this hack, it's probably my favorite hack ever. Thanks for making the set :)

Okay, I straight up just missed Aquatic for Sonic. No idea why. I also noticed you didn't get final zone for Sonic either, but that works just fine for me.

I dunno why, but both Final Zone achievements say "Defeat the final boss of Sonic 1 with Team Chaotix" on them despite one of them being for Team Sonic. To be honest, I didn't think there were achievements for final zone until I checked just now.

Also, my theory on the Water Master achievement was wrong, it seems to simply not work. I used the "No Save" slot and instantly went to Labyrinth Zone.

Okay, Water master SHOULD work now. I think I know how I messed it up.

It still isn't working for me for some reason, but I'm not even sure if it's a glitch in the achievement itself or just Retroarch's fault. I mean, the Sonic Final Zone achievement didn't work for me either...

It might be, unfortunately. Everything seems to be now working for me, so I'm not sure what the problem could be now.

"Sonic Final Zone" also aren't working for me. I'll try to reach it as Chaotix and see, if their "Final Zone" achievement is working correctly.

Now, I didn't get "Sonic Scrap Brain" achievement for one really horrible freeze I got. I had to reload from "Scrap Brain Zone - Act 2" to get some achievements as Team Sonic.

UPDATED: OK, found issue with "Sonic Final Zone" achievement. You need to defeat "Sonic 1" Final Boss without Emeralds. For some reason, achievement didn't registered for me, when I got both Chaos and Sol Emeralds.

Huh, that's interesting that it doesn't work WITH emeralds, but I think I may know why. Unfortunately, I'm really bad at Sonic 2 emeralds, so I probably wouldn't be able to test it.

Just finished mastering the game now, and I managed to get the Water Master achievement as Team Chaotix, no emeralds, and I started playing on Green Hill Zone. I'm not sure why that worked, but alright.

Also this is the first game I'm at the top of the leaderboards at!
