![]() | feifabricio13 Jan, 2016 01:16 ![]() Versions that you guys are talking about does not open on my emulator (Pokemon - Ruby Version (E) (v1.2)), open the game and nothing appears, it is just a blank screen. I'm using the rom 0907 - Pokemon Ruby (U)(Mugs) Only it opens here. But the achivement "Evolution" does not work with this rom. |

![]() | feifabricio13 Jan, 2016 01:48 ![]() Thank you friend. But now my emulator was too slow. Impossible to play. Already excludes the files again installed the emulator and nothing. Frankly I do not know what happened. |
![]() | SyrianBallaS13 Jan, 2016 04:49(Edited 13 Jan, 2016 04:52) ![]() @feifabricio I'm not sure what would make the emulator slow but there's two main possibilities. 1) Too much memory/CPU is being taking slowing down your machine 2) Changed settings in VBA W/e you changed is most likely what made it slow, assuming that it was running at normal speed before changing any settings. |
![]() | feifabricio13 Jan, 2016 17:10 ![]() SyrianBallaS Thanks for your response. It is my computer that is in trouble, hung up and called and began to whistle, should be broken, memory with a problem ... |

![]() | Blazekickn01 Apr, 2019 10:16(Edited 01 Apr, 2019 10:34) ![]() Been thinking about the gen 1 revision recently https://retroachievements.org/viewtopic.php?t=229&o=15 and think it would be cool to do something similar for these games. The ruby and sapphire memory plays a lot nicer than frlg onwards and itd be a missed opportunity to not use it |

![]() | jos04 Dec, 2019 11:38(Edited 04 Dec, 2019 14:58) ![]() I want to propose a revision for Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire. Ideally, i'd like to merge both games into this entry, that way the set will be easier to maintain, plus having the same exact set twice makes little sense in my opinion. Right now, the current set only consists of the bare minimum progression achievements, as well as catching legendary pokemon, i'm going to list the additions and demotions i want to do to the set: Additions: (35) - New Mauville event - Trick House event - Abandoned Ship event - Shoal Cave event - Battle Tower (56 wins in a row (level 50)) - Battle Tower (56 wins in a row (level 100)) - Battle Tower (100 wins in a row) - Beat the elite four using version exclusive pokemon only - Win a Master Contest - Portrait of X condition (x5) - Obtain every possible ribbon on 1 pokemon - Fully furnish a secret base - Obtain all the TMs - Obtain all the berries - Obtain all the chairs, desks and cushions - Obtain all the mats, plants and posters - Obtain all the dolls - Obtain all the ornaments - Obtain a Black Belt - Obtain a Silverpowder - Obtain a Dragon Fang - Fill the Trainer's Eyes list - Make a high level Pokeblock - Low time on the Cycling Road - Win the lottery - GBA Orchestra (play music with note mats) - Have the gender of Azurill change - Improve the record of the competitive brothers - Get acknowledged by a wall - Unlock the Mystery Gift - Gotta Catch 'em All Demotions: (5) - ![]() - ![]() - ![]() - ![]() - ![]() For the rest of the achievements, other than the names, they will stay the same, except for the Master Ball, which will be given the missable [m] tag. Bonus: - Full region compatibility. You will be able to play with your Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Japan and USA backups, as well as other sprite hacks and translations if they're reasonable enough. - Leaderboards, including but not limited to: Berry Blender max speed, Battle Tower max streak, number of times lottery has been won, and -probably- first hall of fame. - Change the names of the current achievements. |
![]() | jos13 Dec, 2019 19:16 ![]() I made a spreadsheet with the new names, achievements and point distribution. I am BAD with names, so feel free to suggest new ones, if i like them more than the current names i'll -probably- change them. Also, i love feedback, so if you see something weird in the new achievements, or you have more ideas for achievements please tell me. |
