Are there any plans in including support for the Japanese version? It's way better to play Sonic games with Japanese voices, unlike the PS2 version, the Gamecube doesn't have both dubs on the same disc.

For some reason I can't find the correct hash of this game.

We don't hash the full disc because it would take too long. Run the game in the emulator and it will generate the correct hash. The Supported Game Files page will tell you which versions of the game will work with achievements.

I discovered the reason even tho I don't have deep knowledge on why. When I open the game in retroarch it generates one of two types of errors.

When I open a ISO file, I get the error: RetroAchievements game load fail: hash generation failed - I assume that's because the format it's not Redump?

When I open the RVZ, I get the error: RetroAchievements: Game could not be identified - which is weird and I don't understand why

Literally I have tried USA, Europe, Japan, but always gives one of these two errors.

Tried even the non-redump file because why not? Not even that worked. Couldn't access Redump.org (site) either. I was almost giving up to the PS2 set because I couldn't think on one solution.

But then the problem solved itself when I tried the Dolphin x64 standalone instead of RetroArch.

I'm not a dev and I don't understand why but I'm happy that I solved my problem somehow.

RetroArch's Dolphin core is not supported for any GameCube set on RetroAchievements. That was the issue.

You need to use standalone Dolphin emulator to play any of the GameCube sets.
