In order to facilitate the upcoming full implementation of the Beaten Games tracking, we have decided progression and win typing shall now be a requirement for publishing a core set. Subsets should not be marked with progression or win types. Active developers need to finish adding types to their sets within two weeks of this announcement (End of day, 2023-11-22). You can see the guidelines here.
Please Link if you have any questions or difficulties. Active developers may also enlist help to get their current sets typed, but are expected to be responsible for adding the types to their future sets.
Changing or adding progression types is treated as a standard revision and follows its rules. No revision vote is needed to add typing to a set whose authors are inactive, but when doing so always make a forum post detailing which achievements were typed. Any developer who validly changes the 'Type' of an achievement becomes responsible for the typing of that achievement and is treated as the type author for purposes of future type revision.
