I guess if RA is about ultimate challenges and rewards, then the ultimate goal would be Sonic 3 and Knuckles, start to finish, no save states, all emeralds, without dying :P

Sonic 3 and Knuckles combined would have to be considered a different ROM with different achievements, correct?

Yep - under the current setup, they are a unique ROM. Same with s&k and sonic 2 :S

I was just posting about this on the cheevos page :p

we need to think on how to tackle sonic 3 & knuckles.. will it have double the points since its 2 games in one? i can sit down and think up a list..

definitely needs its own set of cheevos as it has unigue attributes as a combined game.. Hyper Sonic, Super Tails, the super emeralds in hidden palace zone.. little story twists..

Scott you already have the first cheevo sorted!! "the ultimate freedom fighter" ? :p

I aldready start work sonic 3 & knuckles long time ago, but some cheevo will be same Sonic 3 and sonic & knuckles.

There could be an achievement to get Super Sonic at Mushroom Hills :P

With Sonic you can pick 7 at the Mushroom Hills, with Knuckles 8-9
