I just achieved the Hardt challenge by mastering ~Homebrew~ Great Fumo Binning, The (PC Engine) Great Fumo Binning, The (PC Engine) Homebrew . That was dumb but I love dumb. Also glad I was drinking for this, letting my vision blur to see dots instead of fumos falling, plus the decreased inhibitions... idk if this is scientific, but I swear this isn't the first time being a drunken master has helped me in this league.

PREMISE/GAMEPLAY

NPTH is a game in wich you have to do one simple thing: dodge.

You may read this and thing "oh, that's easy", right? WRONG. Some of those mini games were a pain in the ass (im looking at you mini game 3).

Now for real, it's pretty simple. All the mini games have their own little gimmick that make them different from each other but that's it.

THE SET

For this set, you need to:

- Survive for X seconds on each mini game
- Survive for 2 minutes in any mini game (except 5)

JUDMENT ZONE

I went into this game blind after seeing it in #achievement-news and it actually took me by surprise how addicting it was.

I was also surprise that it run so well on my phone since it has some difficulty running DS games on retroarch, easily recommend if you have a potato for a phome/pc.

It also ended up being my first time being the first to master a game so that's bonus points for the game i guess.

Since I'm not a dev nor a jr. i have no idea how to write an achievement logic, but I've read some past submissions for this challenge and will try. If it's wrong or not valid please hit me up and I'll do my best to get it right

That said, for the achievement i want we'll have to hope that there's a part in the memory that says if a specific boss monster is spawned, in this case King Slime. Upon finding this we'll have to find something that says he got killed, which will be the trigger for the achievement.
This will also be used on the Monster Hunter achievement, which should keep count of which boss monsters you've killed (21 including event bosses).
The item related achievements like Terrarian Sword should work in a similar way, having to find the memory bit that says if you have the item in your inventory.
I have no idea how more complicated achievements like Bob The Builder would work, so that's my take on it.

hardt's challenge has been completed! I mastered ~Homebrew~ Great Fumo Binning, The (PC Engine) Great Fumo Binning, The (PC Engine) Homebrew after the discord channel was buzzing about it being a quick clear for this challenge. At 20 minutes, I'd have to agree.

In contrast, I'm not willing to even estimate how long it took to beat Alundra (PlayStation) Alundra (PlayStation) (with A Nightmare Vanquished A Nightmare Vanquished (25)). The in-game timer maxes out at 99:59:59, let's leave it at that. That's Infernox's challenge down as well!

PREMISE/GAMEPLAY

Magical Racing Tour is a kart racing game featuring levels that take place in Walt Disney World. It has all your favorite rides, such as Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Jungle Cruise. Released in 2000, the game also has some very interesting rides as that year was a unique time for WDW. The Animal Kingdom ride is based on Disney's #1 hit movie "Dinosaur". If you haven't heard of it, there's a reason for that. It also features a Johnny Depp-less Pirates of the Caribbean, since those movies didn't start until 2003. Playing the game in 2023, it has a unique mix of classic and confusing rides to race on.

As a Disney game, you would expect to play as all your favorite characters, right? Unfortunately, that is not the case. Instead, you have access to Chip, Dale, and (as an unlockable) Jiminy Cricket. Who else fills out the roster? Original characters! We have "Vampire Duck" and "Evil Queen Duck", "I wanna be the princess Mouse", "Discount Pete", and "Fivehead Space Dog" to name a few. Each one is based on a different ride, which is kinda neat.

The races themselves are pretty fun, but getting away from the pack is a huge advantage, either for the player or the AI. Once you (or your opponent) are out of range, you basically have the win since it is nearly impossible to use items to catch up. In fact, you need to get used to hearing the "whrr-whrr-whrr-whrr-whrr" sound of acorns hovering around your kart as a shield, because that is what you will hear for most of the race once you get ahead. And it is LOUD.

THE SET

For this set, you need to:

- Win each race twice
- Collect all the fairies during a race
- Complete the Find the Trophies challenge for each course.
- Beat a set time for "collect coins" special stages
- Beat a generous time in Time Trial mode

Doing all this will unlock the hidden characters

FINAL JUDGEMENT

For a Kart Racer, the gameplay is pretty good. It feels fast and there is lots of room for optimization in time trials. Fortunately, the set does not require any extreme skill. Learning and using the short cuts on each level is usually enough to win the race and time trial achievements. It would be nice to have more Disney characters, but I appreciate the effort they put forth to make original characters, even if they do look like the B-Team.

- Mode = GP
- Cup = Red
- Points = 18
- Screen = Award Ceremony

Since the game also supports built-in save states, unlocking the achievement will need to be paused if the player loads a save. This will need to be stored for the entire play session to prevent cheating.
If the player returns to the menu main, the pause can be reset.
