What a great remix, something I never knew I needed but was absolutely necessary once I heard it. The Legend of Zelda theme from Donkey Konga is a great representation of how a remix and change of style can be done right. It's also incredibly fun to play with all the syncopations! Incredible Latin feel, almost makes me feel like I'm in Tropico or something.

Distraction 24 - This Day in Gaming

The Walking Dead Season 2 Season Pass was released on this day (2013), and is a game close to my heart. Always loved the story the Telltale games had to tell, even if the gameplay was a bit repetitive and not very groundbreaking. Going through the several different games and seeing Clementine grow up in the zombie apocalypse was a great experience. Season 2 here was the first time we had the focus solely on Clementine after the events of the first game. Story was very good, enjoyed my time with it.

I'll show some love to the Genesis, and pick my favorite track from Sonic 2, Chemical Plant Zone. It's a pretty good song, and I think that the biggest factor for me personally is the nostalgia. When I was younger, this was usually the zone I got stuck on, so it ended up being the song I heard the most playing the game. It's also just a fun little tune, giving off a sort of science-y feel with its bleeps and bloops, as well as interesting water mechanics in the stage.
