Here's a few ideas for Cheevos:

1. Dirty Dog - Make PaRappa Swear in Stage 7

-To get this cheevo.go to Stage 7: Noodles Can't Be Beat and in the quote: "Thanks thanks,brother,for me let understand that a man must understand to keep his options open" press L two times,that makes PaRappa sound like he said "F##k You!"

2. Master Rapper - Win in all 4 Difficulties in VS Computer on all Stages

-To get this cheevo,you play VS Computer in each stage and win once in each,that will unlock the other 3 difficulty levels,win in all diffuclties in all stages to get the achievement.

1. That first one sounds like fun, but in terms of actually devving it I'm unsure how I would do that. It can be possible, but it may take more time than I'd want to make this set.

2. I have one for beating each stage on different difficulties which kind of fills this purpose. There's also one for beating all stages with a Level 4 computer. The main issue is difficulties 2 and 3 don't seem to be tracked in the game like 1 and 4 are.

3. Unsure about including this one. Boxy Boy segments are purely for practice, and there isn't really a way you can mess up on them.

4 + 5. I actually didn't see this one from the guides, but I did know about the record shops. I'll have to look into these when I get there. Cool mode ain't so bad when you can load a save state lol.

Oh boy! As a huge PaRappa Fan i'm really excited for this set!

Something important to note for this set

- Easy Mode disables all achievements for the set if its turned on
- Most progression achievements are checking that the stage hasn't been completed yet, so if you load a save for a 100% file and beat a completed stage, it will not trigger
- Vs. Computer is an exception, since you're able to skip difficulty levels 2 and 3 to go straight to 4 once you complete level 1 vs. computer

Hmmm... so I've noticed that skipping the opening cutscene of a stage entirely by holding L1+L2 seems to disable leaderboards for that run (but doesn't disable earning an achievement for completing that stage), because I did that for every stage on my Blue Hat run and nothing was submitted to the leaderboards, is there something about doing so that changes the actual level in any way so as to complicate scoring or is that just some kind of oversight wrt how the leaderboards are programmed?

(EDIT: ok so the issue seems to lie in the trigger for leaderboards being on the screen with the Parappa silhouette loading into the stage, it shows up after the opening cutscene and retrying a stage after pausing or failing, but NOT when directly loading into the stage with L1+L2, I had just used L1+L2 for Yellow Hat flawless but had to retry once, and since I had actually gone through the silhouette because of retrying it actually submitted my score that time

So if you're skipping the opening cutscene with L1+L2, you need to retry at least once for your score to register)
