Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!

For those who don't know, on the file select screen before starting a new game hit L,R,R,L,R,R,L,R,L,R and then enter TUFST as your name. This will make the game harder by removing all of the DK barrels and checkpoint and allows you to get 105% instead of just 103%.

Hopefully it works.
I still want to add flawless boss fight cheevs to this game, but I know it'll be a pain and I'm always busy with something.

This game should be completed.
Note: 105% is only obtained by completing everything in the game using the cheat TUFST (short for 'toughest') to make the game much harder. The cheat must be entered BEFORE making a new save, not over an existing one. The effects and results are different.
Cheat Codes:
At the game select screen, highlight the slot you wish to use and press L, R, R, L, R, R, L, R, L, R and a screen will appear where you can enter the "TUFST" code.
TUFST:
=> If entered before continuing a saved game, all halfway barrels will be removed and replaced by a banana bunch. The effect will be temporary.
=> If entered before starting a new game, all halfway barrels will be removed and replaced by a banana bunch AND all DK barrels except 4 of them (for the locations of those 4 barrels, see below) will be removed.
The effects will be permanent. After the whole game completion, the score will be 105% instead of 103% (the 104th and 105th percents are added at the same time as the 103rd one when you visit Wrinkly with all 15 banana birds).
1. In the very first Bonus Room of the level 5-2 (Tearaway Toboggan). Note : it is actually possible to pass this Bonus room with only 1 Kong.
2. In level 6-4 (Pot Hole Panic), near the propulsion barrel allowing to exit the second subterranean pool.
3. In level 4-3 (Swoopy Salvo), inside the bonus room that you access by leaping on birds before the “N†letter. The barrel is required to pass this bonus room.
4. In level 3-4 (Blazing Bazukas), at the very beginning, when you follow the horizontal rope back to the left.

Doing any faster than Cranky's all time greats time of 5:15 doesn't unlock anything in-game that isn't shown with the normal 105% completion, sadly, but it should be one of the ultimate achievements for this game, i think.

You are right with the warning. A lot of people complain about users writing that achievements are broken, but the guide doesn't tell you even the general things about using the American version or versions (in case there are multiple different ones like e.g. Kirby's Adventure) first, switching to others with renaming the save files, figuring out the Checksum or what it is and making sure that the connection was established with the page or how to fix upcoming issues before encountering those experiences with not unlocking achievements. The FAQ should be updated with those information by a native speaker in simple English.

It's a good idea to just play every game in NTSC (U) around here.
