I'm surprised there's no achievements for this game. Plenty of bosses and mini-games.

Can someone do achievement for that one please? I love this game. I tried to do achievements, but I suck at that.

hey HoundBlue & TraderLynch

If you are struggling to make achievements yourself then post your ideas here with a description and I'm sure someone will pick it up soon enough

As it stands this set will likely be demoted because none of these achievements actually work

I thought maybe the achievements just had problems with activating on rom load but after having looked at them in the achievement editor myself, I truly fail to understand how they are supposed to make sense. Are these supposed to be just placeholders for when you felt like making them for real? They shouldn't have been uploaded to core if that is the case.

ALL of these have only one address each, with only 2 unique addresses across them. Even really simple achievements usually have at least 2 addresses, and no damage achievements have more. All the hammer achievements have the same exact code, and some of the no damage achievements have that same code as well. One of them's only condition is a pauseif.

I really would like to know what was being thought while these were being created.

This set has been demoted

Considering this set was demoted, is it even possible for someone else to make a set that actually works? Or is there a problem with the rom that makes it impossible?

From what I saw, some memory was wonky and unstable but I don't think anybody has seriously attempted to go for anything beyond the beginning. Notes for basic info are recorded and they seemed to be accurate and stable, so I'm sure there's a possibility it is eligible for a full set.

From what I'm seeing, it doesn't seem that hard. You probably need some expertise in RPG games first though.

I made a demo achievement for the first battle (against Bowser) that will trigger if you avoided taking damage on that fight. Is the last one of the Unofficial User-submitted Achievements sets. (Remember to activate it if you want to try it out).

I wish I could remember parts of the game to think up of achievement ideas for others, but I can really only remember up to the part when you first get to Hoohoo Mountain.

Well, there can be achievements for each type of move, like, get the Advanced version of each Bros. Attack, there can also be achievements for upgrading your hammer, getting fire/thunder, certain levels (like every 10 levels or something), there's also mini-games in it, so maybe score based achievements.

Okay, for the time being, I have decided to attempt to make a set for this game.

I can't promise a time, but thankfully due to the hard-work of the previously-made-notes and the game not getting aggressive with me... I've... maxed out my HP and power and all other stats, so making it through the game for me(for testing purposes) is going to be as easy as however-difficult the platforming sections are in the later game.

My current game-plan is to first make boss-defeat achievements that progress throughout the game.

Then, depending on my skill at finding the others(or REMEMBERING all the other things people come up with), I'm going to add in some extra things, but I will not announce what they are in case I'm just not able to find them.

All I ask is that I be allowed to start and finish a possibly-basic set first. I WILL try my best to make it a full-set filled with all the extra things I can think of on my first upload, but if I miss something, it's up to the community to add it later. My involvement in this is to at least get the ball rolling, if I don't finish it right away.

For the time being I'm going to be gradually building up a small library of savestates and then go back through them afterwards when I need to search for addresses or test things... hopefully with the modified stats it won't take too long. And hopefully I make enough savestates for the main events of the game so I can go back if there are problems.

I'm sorry the (E) version wasn't used by others in the beginning.. there are already so many Code Notes made for the (U) version that if the (E) version isn't the same, it'd take forever to get them made to be compatible.

Please wait just a bit longer, and I'll see what I can do. Support and encouragement optional. Please don't hate me if I mess this up. =P It's already an intimidating set to begin with, and it will take time...

You could link the (E) version to this entry and use the notes like I did for FE The Sacred Stones.
Everything was on the same adresses, it's just that things like character ID or class have different values depending of the version but they are in the same place in the memory :)

PS: Good luck ^^
