I have a little question about this one.
I see that they select the USA version for the achievements. I understand that classic games they select NTSC version because of the 60hz. . And I understand that on portables normally use the PAL because of the multi language and the same screen refresh rate.
The thing is that lots of GameCube games have PAL60 video modes , then have the same video modes but more languages. Normally the CAPCOM games do that and the last Nintendo games, EA games etc too.
Hopes the developers select more PAL versions when are the best versions to more people can enjoy the games on his language.
Thanks again for all the awesome work you all do here on retroachivements. For me is a dream.

I did a lot of testing with the EU version, and found that the language setting doesnt do anything to the memory (at least, so far). This means we just have to find the address differences between the US version and the EU version and we've found a lot of the necessary addresses, like bitflags and the Map ID, but not everything.
If all goes well and we can reliably support both versions, we would probably enforce 60Hz mode, just so that the EU version doesnt have an unfair slowdown/advantage with 50Hz.
Obviously though, the highest priority is to get a set together in the first place, so I dont want to make promises for anything, but we do want every possible person to enjoy the set.
