It's lacking 4 aero fighters. The total is 8 !
Rewsifer04 Jan, 2015 01:34(Edited 04 Jan, 2015 01:35)
I know, I've got a few messages on that, but never bothered to program it...
And yet I've got some more complaints of people not wanting to beat it 5 times already... So I don't even know what to work with anymore... And there's actually 10 total areofighters including Fabio and Lucario or whoever those Alien Rabbits are.

There's apparently some bug with another (U) Rom that people are having troubles with unlocking 2 or 5 achievements, so I need to find an alternate download in order to test this, but I've taken the past few days off in the holidays and will address all issues real soon, because I hate having tickets against games that I've worked on... I'm allergic to tickets, they are the bane of my life... and this chair.

And thanks everyone for feedback on this game, as well as submitting tickets with problems, I appreciate it even though it's more work for me.. I'll fix it all up there a-real soon.
I love Oreofighters, and you're all pretty damn cool too, i guess,

K Bye.

It seems that i can't trigger the 2 last achievos (Clear Boss endurance mode) and (Clear Boss endurance mode under 4 minutes).
My rom is (U)
Rewsifer19 Apr, 2015 21:44
There seems to be separate versions of the game.. works for half of the people who play it on here.
Try to get another ROM, or take a screenshot of you beating those modes so I can manually give them to you.

I'm kinda sad that I wasn't able to make cheevos for this game before anyone else. Do you want help adding the "beat the game" cheevs for the other 4 pilots?
Rewsifer29 Apr, 2015 05:33
You could always try the japanese (J) version to do your own full set, since you don't need to read anything to play the game.

I figured that some players would complain about having to beat the game 10 times if there were achievements for all 10 characters, so I avoided that. Also the inconveniece of having to swap out your controls for the 2nd controller slot.

I just noticed that you haven't made any achievements yet. If you have any questions about how to make achievements, send me a private message and I can help you out.

That's a great idea. The J version actually has a second loop and some other differences. I can read japanese btw. Anyway I actually made some achievements already but I just left them in the unofficial cat because im not sure how to divvy up the achievement points. They have to come to 400 right? Well it's already at 370 for this game so...

I think the 10 planes completion wouldn't be such a big deal, if some max number of points could be achieved for a game and the rest would be optional. Like instead of having to win with all 10 planes, you could get 400 just by getting all the other achievements and completing with only a couple of planes and the rest of the achieves wouldn't increase your score past 400, so people don't feel like they HAVE to fully complete them all, but I don't know if that's how this site works.

Anyway in the unpromoted/unofficial category I made

Pick each of the other 4 planes
Beat the game with each of the other 4 planes
Fire 5,000 bullets (pretty meh, you just get this after 3-4 levels)
Let a boss run out of fuel and kill itself (this was a lot of work...)
Burning up in the atmosphere (during the last boss, you start leaving earth's atmosphere after awhile)

I will think about doing the J version actually. The RAM is probably almost the same.

Hello :)

Just wanted to let you know that a leaderboard for this game was requested by a player yesterday. If anyone had the time to make one that would be cool. If I ever get better at making them maybe I'll try (don't hold your breath!).

See ya!

kdecks21 Nov, 2017 22:19(Edited 21 Nov, 2017 22:25)
Added 12 Leaderboards.

For all leaderboards default lives (3) is required; any number of continues is fine. Unless specified for any ship is allowed except Rabio, who isn't allowed except when called for.

1. Hi-Score Easy (

For Normal I opted to split it up by ships. I could have done that for every difficulty but it felt excessive.
2. Hi-Score Normal - USA (
3. Hi-Score Normal - Japan (
4. Hi-Score Normal - Sweden (
5. Hi-Score Normal - UK (
6. Hi-Score Normal - Rabio (

7. Hi-Score Hard (
8. Hi-Score Super (

For Endurance Mode each difficulty has a different contest
9. Endurance Easy - Shortest Time at completion (
10. Endurance Normal - Lowest Score at completion (
11. Endurance Hard - Lowest Score at completion (
12. Endurance Super - Longest Time at completion (

Super Hard Mode Code:
At the title screen, hold the R button then press the following buttons.
Up, Left, Down, Right, B, A, X, Y
If done right, a sound will be heard and the "Super" mode will be available in the options.

Play as Rabio Code:
At the player select screen, hold the R button then enter the following:
Left, Down, Right, X, Y, A, B, Left, Down, Right, Down, X, Y, A, B

Endurance Mode Code (boss rush):
At the player select screen, hold the R button then enter the following:
A, Left, Y, Right, X, Down, B, Up

Addendum Notes:
There is currently no score submit on Game Victory. I dug quite deeply into the memory for a "universal submit" address/value, meaning it would submit when you have a Game Over or when you win. Due to how the game handles Game Over, staying on the stage screen and not there's no looping, nothing I found worked. Scores only Submit on Game Over. I could make a whole 2nd set of normal game leaderboards for Game Victory, but find it unsatisfactory due to exploit potential and excessive quantity, or having 2 scores on screen all the time. I could have made submit manual, but that's doesn't feel good either. When the leaderboard syntax is upgraded I'll add a "universal submit".

Demoted via vote, set lacks full progression
GalacticSpear14 Sep, 2021 15:38(Edited 15 Oct, 2021 02:44)
I want to make a revision proposal for this game featuring:

- Defeat the first 4 bosses
- Defeat the 2 different types of final bosses
- Get the ending as the second player characters
- Finish the secret modes (Endurace and Super Hard)

- Bring the old set back to core
- New badges for some of the achievements
