A bit about myself: I'm an English teacher living in 🇷🇺. I travel constantly and am a street photography enthusiast. I'm also active with wildlife observation on iNaturalist. Same username for all that. I'm a proud husband and friend to many. So when I'm not busy with all the life stuff, here I am to play my heart out.
Some things I love: Shin Megami Tensei, Fire Emblem, Mother 3, Pokemon, Vladimir Lenin, Edward Hopper paintings, weevils, and post punk.

@RetroVanny Thanks! That one is a slight pain to master due to job grinding, but not nearly as bad as the PSP version+subset. I'll do them both later when I feel the desire to replay it again. The DS version is definitely the better one to start with. It's a series worth completely mastering.
Congratulations for mastering Path of Radiance! I think I'm the only one who thought that game was hard lol, maybe I just suck. But still great mastery my dude!
Thanks. Lol, don't worry, all Fire Emblem games are tough in their own right. I'm just used to playing the newer ones that have Lunatic+ difficulties where all the enemies are overpowered and have some skills like Counter or Luna -- something you just don't see in PoR, where the skill system was still a primitive concept and rarely made things more difficult.
But if you enjoyed PoR, I can only recommend the 3ds and Switch titles -- FE:Three Houses has some of the best character development and replayability since all the units can be customized from the ground up (and the Black Eagles route is phenomenal.) And FE:Engage has some of the best maps, mechanics, and raw challenge in the series, but the characters are forgettable and a bit on the "weeby" side. It's one of the few series that has actually improved quite drastically over the past decade, in my opinion.
Thanks, but I'm probably not touching an SRPG for quite some time. Not a big fan of the genre, unfortunately, the battles always last for way too long IMO. But if I do, I'll be sure to keep your recommendations in mind! Thanks!
Congrats to you, too. I procrastinated a lot, so I'm happy with Bronze. Not sure how people even made it to Silver or Gold unless they decided to give up their GameCube Gold, which I would much rather have. Just need to try to master Twilight Princess in two days and Shrek or something. 😆
