    Nice work, reading your story about warming up to Hardcore was great. It's unfortunate about the circumstances that lead up to it and the backlash that went on, but hope it goes well otherwise.

    Hey there much appreciated! And I completely agree about any of the negative aspects regarding the change. To me at first, it felt like a personal slight having my original ranking eradicated but the longer I thought about it the more I realized that it was just another awesome excuse to dust off many of my favs again which is the best kind of problem for a gamer.     Man, I suck at those 1942 and 1943 NES games. Great games though, but tough ones. Congrats for finishing those! If I may recommend one of my first games i played here it'd be Paper Mario 64. But be careful if you go for it, there's a bunch of missables.

    Thanks man they are pretty tough! 1943 gets to where my thumb wants to about fall off at times but I still love it. Honestly, I've never played Paper Mario 64 but it's definitely been on the backlog since I played through Super Mario RPG. Thanks for the recommendation : )

    3.5k hardcore points is quite impressive in a short time. That’s nearly 15% of my total in the last year, haha. Keep up the good work.

    Hey you guys are my inspiration! I wanna be up in the top 5% or so at least if I can help it. Big part of why I love this site so much its a blast to have such motivation to play these games again and go for the glory just like the good old days. At this point, I'm extremely happy that the change happened because I may not have ever moved out of my safe "save-state" bubble that I created for myself over the years and achieving anything with integrity is 1000 times more gratifying!

I checked your board and you have a more than impressive array of masteries so I'm probably still at least a minute away from catching you but at least it's a worthy goal. I must say though since I noticed your a developer... THANK YOU for all you've done on here. You guys that create achievements are the TRUE heroes here : )

    You've got some great masteries yourself. Everyone on RA contributes greatly whether it's devving or playing. I think I can speak for most devs when I say that it's a great feeling when you see people playing your sets and mastering them. Without the players, that doesn't happen! This place would be pretty boring if it was just a bunch of devs making sets that no one cared about. It's a two way street and everyone benefits from everyone else's contributions! :)

    100% agreed and well said I might add! I only mean to highlight the sacrifice in time that is required by you guys to create these achievements which is obviously a labor of love. Creating anything as worthwhile to the gaming community as this pretty much has to be and for the ones (like you) who trade in some of their gaming/family/do-whatever-they-want time in order to help build this society I cannot salute you enough! And, If showcasing my overall appreciation through achievement collecting gives back in a way that adds real value to the hard work that's been done, I'd say we're all winners here : )

    Thanks TrashCity! Definitely LOVE the 90's era of entertainment specifically video games from the NES, SNES and Sega Genesis. Just something about those 3 consoles in particular takes me all the way back to instantly being a kid. Thanks again for checking it out I'm hoping to continue adding more and more content as time goes on!
