How long did it take you to get 200k points on seaQuest? I had never heard of it before you said something on the home page chat. Been trying it, it's pretty difficult! Congrats on the score!

Took a bit over a day. The key is to understand how the enemies and divers move and how you can manipulate what you're going to be up against. The game requires strategy, not quick reactions.
TheBatman 17 Apr 2018 18:37
Some quick pointers: Each of the four rows will alternate between sharks and subs. The number will be consistent between the two, so if there's three subs and you kill two, that means it will alternate between one sub and one shark from then on.
TheBatman 17 Apr 2018 18:39
If you kill all enemies in a row, it will respawn with whatever number it started off as, and always do so as sharks. This means that if you place yourself in a row and keep killing every shark in it, subs will never appear there.
TheBatman 17 Apr 2018 18:41
If there's a diver in that row, the diver will only appear with the sharks, so it can be a good strategy to do this. Also note that the diver will always swim away from the sharks,
TheBatman 17 Apr 2018 18:42
so if you kill all the sharks in a row and the diver suddenly reverses direction, that means the next sharks will be coming from the other direction.
TheBatman 17 Apr 2018 18:43
Finally, learn how to use the surface. If you stick a few pixels of your sub above water, you'll no longer lose oxygen, and the enemies below the sea can no longer hurt you. The patrol sub can, obviously.
TheBatman 17 Apr 2018 18:47
However, if you position your sub just below that, so that the surface graphics overlap the top of your sub, you'll still lose oxygen, but neither the patrol sub nor the underwater subs can hurt you.
TheBatman 17 Apr 2018 18:48
The sharks can hurt you when their weaving motion is at its highest unless you're as close to the surface as possible, which is a bit tough to time right, and should only be tried when absolutely necessary.Hope this helps. :) It's a great game.

Getting close to getting seaQuest done I see!

Yeah, but those last few benchmarks are TOUGH
WilHiteWarrior 14 Aug 2018 16:43
Congrats on mastering Metal Gear! \o/
TheBatman 14 Aug 2018 16:45
Haha, it's not that difficult a game. I liked the stealth achievements though, good job on those.
WilHiteWarrior 14 Aug 2018 16:54
hehe thank you

Nobody ever dies in comic books, surely you know that.
