    i am waiting currently for Retropie 5 will come out or the next release which will feature the RetroAchievements integrated - which i assume will come soon because its already in regular updates available.

    well i hooked up my raspberry pi 3b with retroachievements and retropie 4.5.18 atm.

    at the moment all my systems crash when earning any achievement. wether this is a raspberry pi 3b or a linux desktop pc with retropie on it,- also tried batocera same result. have posted about this on the retroarch github.

    i have installed batocera on my devices now, but still the same problem - i fear i have to skip retroachievements until this problem is solved

    now 2021 may i have installed Batocera 5.30 i hope the problems with computers hanging freezing etc are now gone while earning Achievements. still have to try tho

    people i believe it is either my isp doing weird things or something undetectable in my home. again another pc, installed batocera on it v37. entered reg login creds it logs in. - however in the batocera menu i already have an indication something is off. cannot view the retroachievements menu from the batocera menu in es directly. nothing happens emulation station crashes and reloads the interface. can only view my scores on website retroachievements. and this is again another pc i try the ra on. i have tried it on over 3 or 4 different machines now and every time the pc either crashes hangs or does malfunction with ra. spanning over different operating systems as well.

    yay! i got batocera v39 and now i have retroachievements working as it should , .. i guess
    i have not encountered any of the prev problems yet.
    it seems there was something in prev versions of whatever they use for retroachievements
    in batocera before v39 has been fixed or they done something and now it runs on my
    desktop i3 which i dedicated especially for batocera v39 as a charm !!
    i can view the retroachievements overview window too to see my profile and achievements !

    in the middle of putting together a Batocera (v39) build for my retro pc.
    i have around 6000 games on there now. all unlicensed or homebrew. no copyrighted stuff
    of the games, around 400 have achievements.

    the library of public domain and freeware (non-copyrighted: which is the only stuff on my retro pc now)
    is getting pretty huge. never knew there was so much free stuff and not copyrighted games
    on the net. it is topping around 12000 games now and i still discover new every day.
    a good chunk of 419 games has RetroAchievements on there now.
    the internet archive really is a good help into finding it-

    and something has come between me and batocera. i needed a dedicated pc for xp games era, so my batocera system is currently not a/v. i have to find a new system/pc for batocera and retroachievements one day soon..

    screw it. i just took one of my pcs i did not really use that much. after a whole mess with usb sticks which gave incredible low performance, i just geformatted the hdd and installed batocera onto it.

    it is a imedia_s2984 pc. incredible potato but remarkable fast for batocera, and most emulators
    i need to buy more pcs for this

    i managed to get dreamcast running at this potato in 100% speed. redream gives best results. flycast single core also gives good results. this pc is only 1.6-2.0ghz*4 cpu integrated intel hd400 graphics. how can this thing even run dreamcast ? needed to tinker with the settings tho, but it looks very good.
