Congratulations on the Crazy Taxi mastery! When I tried that game out I couldn't even beat it (lol). I hope I can sharpen my skills so I can at least revisit the game in the future and give it another shot, cause I remember having a lot of fun playing it.
I'm also looking forward to trying that Cuby Panic set of yours when it eventually releases, it looks pretty cool. Never played any PC-88 games myself though, closest I ever got was when interest in the Ys series popped up in my head and I heard their very first game was on that platform, but I never took the time to actually sit down and figure how to emulate these damn things! XD
CT1 was a childhood staple for me, the one kind at my elementary school I knew had a Dreamcast. It's only in recent years that I've played the arcade cabinet, so I got some callused trigger fingers playing on a DC pad for years.
PC-88 emulation isn't too bad, particularly with all the nice things RAQuasi88 has (save/load states, easy to use config menu, etc.). Cuby Panic is also a solid starter game, albeit on the simpler side of puzzle design IMO. It was an easy pick since I beat it a while back and I'm wary of the other PC-X8 games on my dev wishlist for various reasons. (Games like Bouken Roman, Testament, and WerDragon are more challenging, if more conducive to unique set designs.) Maybe I should do Super Pitfall on a lark, aka the actually good version that wasn't brought to Famicom.
