    Also, just want to make sure you are aware of hardcore mode? My guess is it would suit you better. It prohibits use of cheats and save states and ranks users on a different leaderboard than softcore. You can enable it in the achievement settings of RetroArch if interested.

    Many of my Softcore achievements were just from playing back my old emulator movies from my Sunday Longplay series that were recorded on a previous version of BizHawk before it added RetroAchievements support. Some of my old movies desynched, though, so I'll replay those games in Hardcore mode on my own time.
