I definitely recommend Paper Mario if you haven’t played it before. The same goes for pretty much all of the games by Rare. If you’re a big fan of OoT then play the Master Quest set. It’s actually better than the vanilla set. Star Road, Last Impact, SM64: OoT, and SM64 Land are amazing hacks you will probably enjoy also!
My first moment of frustration came early in the game with the 100 coin star in C3. Then later I had some trouble getting the 100 coin stars in C7, C11, and C12 but overall nothing too bad. I'm pretty sure I choked at the end of every single star in C14 at least once. That's when I actually started feeling some rage inside.
Then I entered Hell... I struggled so hard with the beginning of C15 at first that I started to question if I was going to be able to finish the game before the end of the year. That was probably my biggest hurdle to overcome. After practicing for hours though I became very consistent at it. The rest simply boiled down to a battle with my nerves when getting close to the end of each star. I had several chokes here too, but luckily didn't choke with 19/20 coins. That must have been very painful for you :(
I'm so happy to be finished, but I also kind of miss it at the same time. It was a very fun experience and I know I will end up playing another kaizo, but for now I think I'm going to take a break. Oh and feel free to add me on Steam if you want to :)
