Thank you chocolatiel - in nearly 10 years of being active on RA you are the first to comment on my profile xD.. I will say, the toughest sets for me so far have been Pokemon Stadium, Paper Mario Master Quest, and Landy's Quest64 Hardcore hack - which I definitely recommend as it is such a great enhancement over the original Quest64 game. Will be sure to check out your streams soon!
Just finished Paper Mario Master Quest, my first and only master, really was tough but MAN you have a collection of masters. Which one was your favorite?
Paper Mario Master Quest is extremely difficult, congrats on mastering it! My favorite by far is TheMysticalOne's DragonQuest VIII set. Incredibly fun game itself and the set has a fine balance of challenging yet not too difficult achievements. Highly recommend if you enjoy RPG's. Another personal favorite of mine was ikki5's Harvest Moon64 set. Very chilled and laid-back set. I often replay a lot of these games and re-master them just for fun. xD
Sounds great! I actually hadn’t thought of playing the Harvest Moon games yet, even though I fell in love with Friends of Mineral Town way long ago. I’ll definitely check both of them out. Thanks!
@Jonny8567 Yup. Those are all me. I've mastered the DQ8 set probably 20 times now (hardcore and softcore; I reset the masteries on my alt-accounts a lot). I try to speedrun the set. My fastest mastery was 4 days I think. I could be a lot faster, but between my job and life in general, that will most likely not happen xD I stopped using online guides a long time ago. I know the entire set by heart. Another user on here suggested I do a livestream, but I don't want to bore people with such a lengthy game which a bunch of level/alchemy receipe grinding. That and I've never streamed before either xD And yes; it is definitely one of the best RPG's ever!
New Years Resolution 2025 - I deleted ALL progress from games that I know I will never be able to Master. Dropped at least 100+ in Global Rankings. From here on out, I will tackle sets I know I will be able to 100%. Primary focus is to clear up sets I have already mastered, but have gotten revisions. Many of these are tedious grind sets, but with time, I will keep them active. To date - Average Completion (Mastery) is 93.06%.
