Because of his race strength is good at speed and stamina but not good at turning so smooth(Bomb boost still useful, but Tirra flying with bomb boost is not so far as Louie)
With king Tirra's highest speed can win a lot of NPCs (if want to use high speed and his great stamina)
Recommend Roller shoes(for speed UP) with mount
Or Power bomb(throwing behind don't let NPC get over you) (Hint:Snow mountain can use it for climb shortcut)
Black Louie is most fast in Louie race, but not as fast as King Tirra
But he good at turning control and bomb boost very effective
With Egg's buff (Increase speed) can mostly faster than King Tirra
And practice bomb boost with Black Louie, you will see in Mirror track race the No.4 (King Tirra NPC) or No.2 (Hyper Louie) are crazy increase his speed to chasing you in final lap
◎But in US version,these NPCs mount speed is definitely higher than the player's speed, and with each lap the NPC passes, the limit speed also increase, which is 25% higher than original mount's speed (the calculation method is the NPC mount speed * 125% = their running speed)
Coupled with the crazy rubber band mechanism setting, it is almost difficult to maintain a large distance from the NPC.
This is why NPCs are so difficult
If wanna practice bomb boost, I'd recommend play JPN version, because they're not so fast, and you don't need to farming a lot of money to get Black Louie and King Tirra
