@Burgins Yeah, the Final Fantasy (Solo runs) sets and the 126 combinations set really gave me a good boost on those points. There is also the Metroid (NES) one that is extremely tough. Gave me a lot of those too, but how much fun did I have while trying to figure out stuff and make those achievements pop! However, I'll never be able to complete it. Some stuff is just too hard, but, hey, can't get them all lol
@TheMysticalOne Thanks a lot for the congratz!!! That was a long, but exciting run overall!! Great work on preparing the set as there was absolutely no mistake in it! That was a real blast! Such an honor that you came to see the last stream with us! Looking forward to play some of your sets in the long term process and exchange thoughts with you again! You'll always be welcome on the stream as well! :)
@metalbubble403 Thanks to you as well!! I really appreciate!! We're in the same boat and it seems that you'll most likely be the next player to get through the whole subset!! Man, you're really working hard in raising them all to level 50 in every run!! Much respect for that! I wouldn't have the patience! I'd gladly enjoy completing the game at level 28-33 in average depending on the party! I completed it at level 50 only once and that was with the four Black Mages. They were the only ones that I wanted to be that strong! MegaNuke on CHAOS was really fun haha! Keep it up!! ;)
@buttoncrash No problem for the late congratz!! I simply appreciate your good thoughts! Having been challenging that game in all kinds of ways in the past, I couldn't really pass on this set, especially since it involved the original game, which is the very best version of Final Fantasy 1 when it comes to me! Really had tons of fun doing this challenge! For some reason, I can't get tired of this game lol.
thanks! still lots of work to do. i'm planning on doing the dragon warrior series at some point. most of those sets seem pretty mellow. they will just take time
@gnarblast You're very welcome!! I have exactly 123 games in my to do list here. I'll play more of the Dragon Warrior series for sure as well. Lots of longer sets in the list, but I'll pick them one after another nonetheless! Tons of fun ahead too! :)
@Edditoria Glad that I could help! If you're looking for more possible interesting choices, pm me and I'll be glad to send you my full to do list in alphabetical order, platform by platform.
@solidification Ha! Ha! I hear you there!! Man, you'd call me a huge farmer/grinder!! I'm getting everything I can get in order to be ready for anything! I understood that disabling the exp gain doubles our money gain. took advantage of it and got tons of stuff to 99 (potions-like items). I also think that enemies who we can steal from can give at least 2 different items. Things became interesting as soon as I found a Mystery Egg on a Wight in the Phantom Forest. I decided to make a list of the items that we can steal, at least for common encounters.
Dadaluma was cool! I enjoyed the highly increased difficulty level, which forced me to get a party of 4 instead of a party of 3 that was more made for making quick money than hurting a boss with so much HP lol. Had to bring on GAU, Sabin, Locke and Celes instead of Locke, Celes and Edgar. My strategy vs the boss was not perfect as I could have equipped something against Muddle, but we prevailed nonetheless. The Crawler Rage was a good ally in this fight. If I failed that attempt, I would come in prepared against Muddle and the fight would have been ours, even more. Can't wait to see how it goes for the next ones. Certainly learning what the game is made of!! Can't use that Healing Shive for now, though I got 8 of them, so if I need them or several of them, they'll be there for the very least! Black Heart from Lich (steal) is interesting too. Could come handy when it's time to use special builds/strategies!
You don't have to stress too hard about making a steal list. Grab what you can/want, but when you beat the game, the ending gives you a password, which you can use in the official patch download.
The official patch download comes with a PDF that provides SOME information about the game (not enough to spoil things, though), but it looks incomplete. There's also a folder called "unlockme" or something that's password protected; when you put in the password from the end of the game, it has a complete steal/drop list, among many other things, too. Though it doesn't really tell you where enemies are. It also doesn't say what the Mystery Egg does, but you may discover it if you leave it equipped on people who can equip certain weapons...
@SrOliveira Ha! Ha! Thanks sir! I'll definitely need to sharpen my Final Fantasy 5 knowledge and skills though!!! Didn't play that game for two decades already!! It'll be extremely fun, that's for sure!!! Looking for the original one first, then Whirlwind, Four Job Fiesta and Low Level will follow as well! No rush, but it's unconditionally in my to do list for RetroAchievements!! :)
@coyotatelica Goodness, yes!!! I waited for a long for the set to be available! And now it's there! Plus, Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends will also be there once I am done or pretty much done with DW4 Xtreme Legends! I don't know if I can master it, but I'll do my best to do as many achievements as I can with this one! I don't have the knowledge that other players have with this one! I played it in the past, but mostly to complete all missions, but certainly not with every character. But this time, no choice since we need to level up all weapons! It will take a long time to get there not to mention all those tricky unlockables here and there! I just know that I'll enjoy every minute of it! :)
