    Hey, the same thing happened to me. My computer crashed while playing Armageddon and it somehow deleted the savefile. I was able to salvage it with a savestate.
    If you have a savestate, pause achievements, load the state, save the game, then reset.
    Also, always back up your save to another location.
    I have had problems with losing game saves, so I always copy those files.
