I don't know if this is cheating (I hope not) but is there a way to set the emulator settings to make the stylus more precise? Right now it just whips all over the place which is fine for muddling through the first few slippin' slimes but the 4th course needs more precision than that.

I don't know if there's a option like that. I had to play in the phone (transfered the DesMume save) to pass the 4th course, which even using a magnetic pen, was way worse than playing in a original DS. I had to do many tries to unlock that cheevo.

Yeah, using a mouse as a stylus is terrible, I can't even get the Slime to reach the target at all.

I can't do the Slime game at all. I don't know what it is but it seems no matter what settings I use, the boxes cannot detect enough swipes to keep the slime going. I have only gotten close to just the red line once. On the first track. I know some people have gotten the achievements but given that it requires stuff like messing with retro settings and God. maybe they should just be in a bonus set. it seems way too finicky to require in a base set when, at a minimum, it is not something that can simply be done 'out of the box' so to say.

I remember passing the 3 first courses without changing any setting (didn't even know what setting to mess). Just holded the mouse button and swiped right-left non-stop like crazy. Swiped from one square to the other when needed go straight, and on the same square when wanted to change direction. Only in Course 4 I had to change to the phone to use the touch screen, as I didn't have enough speed with the mouse. But you have a point, took a year after the set came out to other people start mastering it. I only mastered it fast cause I persisted too much with this minigame, but it was a pain, as it was way easier in the original DS. Probably it's what keeping people from mastering the game.

Yeah. you shouldn't have to use your phone. That said, the slime simply never has enough speed and I have no idea why.

Regarding the Slippin' Slime minigame, i asked the dev about them and he recommended that i used DeSmuMe and it totally workd. In less than 30 minutes i went through all 4 courses easily on mobile using the "Touch" option. Really recommend changing to DeSmuMe if you're not using it.

Welp, now I have every achievement in the game except Slippin' Slimes. I guess one day I'll figure out how to get it on my phone. Until then, it'll have to remain unfinished.

The Slippin Slime cheevos should be shelved or put into a bonus set. They are more or less impossible with a mouse. On a real DS or on a phone I guess they are not that difficult. I have no option to use a phone for gaming. I have tried for hours and can't get pass stage 4. Can't even imagine how stage 5 is....Another good set ruined by a mini game...same as the puzzle mini game in FF1.

I do not mind if something is difficult or really tough or takes a long time etc. But if you make a cheevo where you either require a special device to play or to use cheating or similar extern tools (Speaking of ff1 here) it is not a good cheevo.

I got 43 seconds on the sliding puzzle once, so I do think that it CAN be managed without a solver. I can typically figure out the pathimg of it quickly enough, the problem is that the tiles are usually jumbled up in a way that you just can't move them all the because spaces in time. So, you have to keep resetting until RNG is on your side. But, I think it's an exceptionally tedious one that I'll probably never get (I'm also not a fan of the Chronidia grind as the colors don't seem to work the way they're supposed to, but that's a me issue, I think).

I very much agree in this instance that having to use a phone to do the Slipplin' Slimes is awful. The invisible platforming in Murdaw's Keep was also obnoxious. Otherwise, this set is really fun, but I think those five could go.

First time playing this one and decided to go along with the set and it was a amazing experience. Covered a lot of events and extras, and the challenges were great too.
