Using the game's natural save system (save rooms) is fully permitted in hardcore mode, hardcore mode only prohibits the use of the save / load state tools in the emulator.

i'm trying to get the ancient armor in hard lv1 and i killed just over 1000 old axe armors e nothing. does it even drop in this mode?i dont have the rare ring yet, i wanted to get this armor first thing before i explore the next stages

Yes, it is definitely dropped in this mode. It's one of the rarest drops, but in fact you had bad luck if you didn't drop in more than 1000 kills :( also remember the Luck bust. Good luck! Hope it doesn't take too long!

i couldnt cast luck boost because i was using chain lightning to kill it instantly. well, a few minutes after i posted this i got the drop just over 1100 kills. tyvm

Defeat not equal to cure. If achievement saying defeat - you need to defeat sisters.

just a small tip with LV 1 Cap, when you can, try to get the Ancient Armor. That armor will make it so you lose 10% of your max HP per attack, regardless of what it is.

Explore the map at 1000 % and complete all Wind quests only to get 47 % of the achievements is a bit disappointing, maybe all these no damage/lv1 cap achievements should all be in a bonus set.

I agree with Sanatos. It is a shame how normal/official sets for these awesome castlevania games (including de GBA ones) are filled with tasks that are incompatible with having a normal life, or just anxiety inducing

I disagree with Sanatos. Mastery shouldn’t just be about spending time in a game, but rather displaying skill in it. Eight percent of players were capable of completing the game at hard level one. That’s an appropriate amount I feel. Not every game we play needs to be mastered.
