I love this game! It was my second tactical RPG after FFT when I was younger. If anyone decides to make a set for this that would be stellar :)

I'd love to see this set created. It was my only other childhood RPG besides Pokemon. Perhaps there could be an achievement for filling out the puppet "pokédex" :)

Yay, thank you Schengo and Cykette! Can't wait to start this. I'm debating whether it's worth it to do the melee-only achievements on a separate save or not... I think having access to magic would make the other difficult achievements much easier, but I dunno yet

@kingslayer I was the play tester for the set before it went live. I tested every achievement 5+ times and beat the game three times in the process. I also wrote the achievement guide for it before the set went live. It can be found at the top of this page under the picture of the box art.

Playing through the game for a fourth time wasn't much of an effort for me. lol

The longest achievement to get is filling out the Pappet Book. There's 169 puppets and 768 possible combinations to get them. I'd recommend looking in the guide I wrote. I linked a source I found that has a full evolution combination chart. It'll save you about 10 hours of headache.

And here I thought it was gonna be a easy ride lol, it seemed like a ok game. One of those lost strategy rpgs from the 90's, was worried it was going to be a very short story.

The game is about 8-10 hours casually if you've never played it before. The whole game feels like the dev team lost interest in the game half way through, slap-dashed a good chunk of it, and then chucked it out onto the market.

It had a lot of potential and could have been so much more than it ended up being. It was met with poor reviews all around when it released so a sequel was never made. I'm surprised anyone got the green light to localize it outside of Japan, honestly. It's not a bad game, though. I've definitely played waaaaay worse stuff made by much larger companies. Lookin at you Mighty No. 9...

@taterz You can finish the pappet book in NG+ as well but it's possible to get them all during the first run. I would say it's easier to do in the first run because you have access to stronger dungeons which are going to have more enemies per battle. More enemies means more jewel drops.

If you have puppets with high Magic Attack, you can cast your team's strongest spells and end pretty much every fight during turn one. Genie Masks are the best accessory to equip for MA and are dropped pretty commonly from Apple Bats in the first fight in Villee Tower.

Be careful if you play NG+. Due to the poor localization job, there are game breaking bugs that can sometimes cause your game to completely crash when you enter the puppet room in your house. Only happens in NG+ as far as I'm aware.

i've already come across a bunch of D ranked spells. been using the first stage for jewels since it's got about 6-7 enemies with very little chance of dropping equipment of any kind. only got 1 doll i plan on using to cover the map since it's level 30 and i got plenty of stages to watch him die on.

and when i say a bunch, i mean they are all stocked on every D rank spell they can possibly learn. only one healing spell, but it's almost irrelevant cause my flying cat takes under 20 damage any time he's hit. only garland was capable of hitting triple digits on him lol.
