I hadn't actually thought if it would! Just had a quick look now by importing a save with a fail and it doesn't transfer any of your mission stats, including failures. The value that is used for the achievement is the stat that displays in the system menu, so as long as that shows 0 failure you're good :)

Do you need a 100% save file with the special parts only, or you need every part in the shop to trigger the achievement? Can you import human PLUS too?

So you need the parts from the shop too? That's the only thing that my H+ 100% save doesn't have, and the achievement didn't trigger.

Yes to be safe because there are parts that is not available in phantasma only in AC1

You don't need to import everything from the shop from the first game. There are 21 parts that are only obtainable in the first game which can be transferred. Everything else can be bought in the shop in this game. Of course though, transferring it all across means less to buy here :P the full list of all 21 parts is listed in the first post of the forum post for this game :) and human plus is indeed not required, but it also doesn't restrict you, so it's entirely your own choice which you prefer.

The 21 parts also includes the KARASAWA and MOONLIGHT, which can only be used in this game if transferred across. The 21 parts is basically all 11 hidden parts and 10 parts which unlocks in the shop of the first game as a mission reward.

It's very little in this one with arena mode. You get 3 million from defeating Necron alone and the 2nd place gives either 2 or 1.2 million. I did originally think of putting it at 7.5 but didn't want to make it a big grind on top of arena.

It's more of the same, a neat expansion pack released a couple of month after the original. This introduce the Arena PvE mode and a couple of very different new missions which were fun. Playing after transferring all of your data from AC allows you to make good builds for the arena and for the the difficult fights you can cheese them by selecting the low-ceiling cave map. Now we just have to wait for the set release of Master of Arena !

The achievement set itself is good, but my god was this game a lot harder than AC1. The last 20 or so arena missions are super hard and require you to play perfectly. Even when playing very well I still had to come up with cheese strats to beat the enemies sometimes. Here's some tips: choose the desert base arena. You can fly backwards at the start over the gate, if you can lure an enemy back there on the other side of the gate they can get stuck and are easier to shoot at the gate. Another option is to take dual grenade launchers and get on the other side of the wall (a side without the gate) and shoot the wall to damage them through it to cheese them down before jumping in to finish them with machine guns or something like that. The set is great, but man this game was a pain for me to finish. Arena mode sucked for me lol

Mastered. Much simpler set compared to the the first game, but that's to be expected of what's basically an old expansion pack. Great set nonetheless.
