When you unlock Advanced moves, you can wander off the path the game gives you when showing you how to execute said moves. In order to know what button to press and when to press it, I encourage you to look for a “ ! ” near one of the brothers. You can use the slowed down mode to give you enough time to find it, and get used to the Advanced move.

Sorry I don’t think you understand my statement. It flash’s “adv” next to the bros attack but I don’t know HOW to use the actual Advance move, it continually does the Normal move. How do you select to use the advanced move instead of the normal move?!

Oh but I did understand what you're trying to achieve. The advanced moves are part of the classic moves. Play it slowmo, look for that “ ! ”, and press the buttons adequately.

Ahhh gotcha now - in slow mo if the “!” Appears then push the opposite brother of the color it’s showing etc. jeez, I don’t recall the game ever explaining that… thanks so much!

That's because it never explains it! It's one of the hidden features. I've played this game back in 2004 and learned about these moves about ten years later replaying it lol, I just thought it dealt more damage or something

I want no damage achievement for all bosses.
Every single attack can be either avoided or knocked back.

I've already beaten, SS, PiT and BiS no damage and I'd do it again for achievements.

Mastered! This was my favorite game on the GBA and it still holds up well nowadays! This is a pretty good set for the most part, but a couple of the mini-games are BRUTAL. Also, Luigi is #1!

Not tried yet, but this seems like a very enjoyable set! Ill keep a time distant trom Bested Vaati (Minish Cap) since that 10-minute fight its either random and frustrating and relax getting some achievements here :p love this game
