Got it. Somehow game didn't count first bonus round, although I got achievement for Perfect clearing.

Its very tedious to have to do the Boss Rush every time you die for the final boss, just for his achievement. Wouldn't be simpler, that instead of having to do No Damage on Boss Rush, would we just need to go through the normal boss without powers?

Finally mastered! Is it bad that the no damage DeDeDe took me WAY longer than the dark matter one?
MrDynamite 10 Sep 2021 22:32
Wow ... Boss Rush is definitively harder than Castlevania-Metroidvania Boss Rush Mode. I have 100 % Savegame now.

Finally mastered! Man, I tought this was going to be easy... BUT THEN I GOT FCKING DESTROYED BY THOSE BOSS RUSH ACHIEVEMENTS. Those achievements destroyed every fun I was having with this set, they are so dumb and I hate them. The rest os the set is fine tho.
WanderingHeiho 10 Jan 2022 03:36
Mastered! Been a long time since I last played this. Possibly the hardest No Damage fight for me was just Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright, until I eventually learned that I was not stuck without a copy ability (Dark Matter isn't too bad in my opinion, just the journey to them).
GreninjaMan 17 Feb 2022 00:30
i find it funny that i no damage dark matter before dedede, it was pretty challenging though and good
GGK912 30 Apr 2022 00:56
mastered, and with that i think i've mastered the whole dark matter trilogy by now. no doubt the boss rush achievements here gave me the most trouble out of every other achievement in the 3 games (well, except KDL3's jumping minigame achievement. that one comes to the same level of trouble), but hey, it's doable.
GGK912 30 Apr 2022 00:57
actually scratch that. i remembered how much more painful 64's no damage boss rush run achievement was for me lmao
Ness64 16 May 2022 06:48
Mastered. This set would have been more fun if you could do the "no damage" achievements during the main game or in the Boss Rush, like in Adventure. It could have a similar restriction on banning abilities and animals, so it's not automatically easier to do it in the main game. This comes to a head on Dedede and Dark Matter; these are the only bosses you can rematch in the main game, so locking the cheevo to the boss rush is kinda unjustified. Forcing you to fight every other boss just to attempt a "no hit" on them again isn't "challenging", it's an arbitrary time sink that arguably only delays the inevitable; if you can beat the Boss Rush and get to them with high health (and you're kinda forced to do so), you can "no hit" them. Other than that, the set was okay
CassetteCobra 7 Jun 2022 07:45
Mastered! I like this set. The boss rush achievements were fun and challenging. The boss rush achievements are much more forgiving and fair than Kirby 64's as that game is painfully slow with it's bosses.
SomehowScarlet 15 Jun 2022 22:57
do not think this is an easy master, this game is filled with unavoidable rng garbage that will test the limits of your patience
SomehowScarlet 16 Jun 2022 04:13
not sure how I didn't realize you could get abilities in boss rush
CassetteCobra 16 Jun 2022 08:56
Me neither, how would you even know that the Stars shot by Mr. Bright and Mr. Shine gives you an ability? Stars never do that on their own.
markdarkness 22 Apr 2023 06:31
There's a really good colorization that the set could possibly be made compatible with:

For the love of all thing RA, please add the DX version hack!
Hyrulehero 14 May 2023 18:06
There is no good reason the damageless boss achievements shouldn't be obtainable during the main game. I know the game only lets you defeat most of them once per file, but that's no reason to lock out the ability to go for it during that first time through anyway. If the idea is supposed to be to do it without copy abilities and animal buddies, then just add that requirement in to the achievements to.
Renan007 18 May 2023 04:03
I agree, in all other games the No Damage achievements are always in the stage so why be different in this one? Imagine having to defeat all the Bosses just to face the last one and only have one chance.. a revision would be good to change that
