75th master and I am beyond glad to be done. This is just Fire Red with the ability to catch all Pokemon, which is pointless when all the hoenn pokemon are on their own island with no trainer battles at all. Same with Johto being post-game.

Mastery #12 || don't play this hack if you like interesting new mechanics since it's pretty much vanilla with the ability to catch all the mons. Great set though! I had a good time just chilling and catching everything :D

Been grinding the Elite 4 to evolve my Pokemon. Suddenly there's an invisible wall as soon as I enter the first chamber. And ideas on this?

Haven't heard of that before, but to answer your to her question on where to grind: On Sevii Island One there's a spot with 5 trainers, just surf a bit to the right and up. Just use the VS seeker there they have lvl 50 Machoke and Primapes and can be spammed super quickly, also in the cave right next to them you can heal your party if you step into the hot spring

Finally done with this hack. It has some "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!" AVGN moments regarding some pokes you have to get (I'm looking at you, Shuckle, Huntail, Bagon... and a few more) and grinding in Cerulean Cave for ages is not the most fun thing to do. But hey, I dig the idea of being able to catch every single pokemon without having to worry about trades or events. It is most definitely a slow ride, but not a bad one. Thanks for the set!

First time catching this many mons in a single game! Loved the grind! Thanks a lot for not adding many missables @Delmaru.
Overall, If you love pokemon and you can't get enough vanilla, this hack has added content and a very detailed guide. I recommend this hack for Pokelovers.

@rainestorm happened to me too. Turns out there are shiny patches in this game that if you walk through the next Pokémon will be guaranteed shiny. They are all marked in the guide the creator made

Mastery #35. It's not really a super different hack from the base game. I really liked the shiny spots added in. I got to have some shiny pokemon I've always wanted on my team, such as Starmie.

The new area added doesn't really add much flavor. It's basically just a new area where the Hoenn pokemon can be caught. It's a bit of a shame more variety couldn't have been implemented. I would have loved to have more pokemon available at the start of the game.

The Catch Your First Pokemon area is awesome and I LOVE it. What a cool idea! I wish it was expanded a bit more to have even more pokemon at the start. I really regret not starting with Larvaitar or Dratini to cut down on the grinding for Catch Em All. I went with Trapinch. Not the smartest idea in hindsight.

I was motivated to play this for that really pretty badge. Yeah, it's probably shallow of me. But I still had a great time. A very easy mastery if you're looking for a hack to play. That grind for Catch Em All definitely sucked, though.

The technical problem I had was the E4. It was discussed in the forum, but there's a problem with post game immediately after the E4. Instead of going through the credits, the game makes you save and then you just keep playing. The problem with this is the game assumes you're still in the credits phase. I had my game freeze on me after evolving a pokemon, forcing me to start back at my last save. In order to prevent this, it's recommended that you reset the game after you save when you beat the E4.

Due to this, I decided not to use the E4 for grinding. I went to the six bikers to the left of Celadon City on Cycling Road. The three on the far left have high level pokemon during VS Seeker rematches, which give decent chunks of EXP. The three on the right are a lot lower leveled, making them good for gaining EXP for weaker pokemon without sharing. The distance between them and the Pokemon Center in Celadon is enough to recharge your VS Seeker.
