I never really cared for playing this as a kid but for some reason I have a lot more appreciation for it now that I’m older.

Badged! Highly suggest you follow the GameFAQs guide to make sure you don't miss any items. The barrel minigame and guitar minigame are the hardest parts. If you can get those, the rest is EZPZ.

Mastered, man...this game was a childhood classic of mine. This game was really creepy for a very young me but I managed to get through most of it. I couldn't 100% it because 1 mirror shard I had no idea on how to get. Fast forward a decade and a half and finally figured it out, boy was I really annoyed by the solution!

The camera didn't bother me as it did others, but I wished there were more angles to walk from. The biggest pet peeve of mine was the inability to jump down to the bottom area in the old entrance area, forcing you to go ALL the way around the map to explore it again.

The achievements are to be expected for a game like this, really easy all around with the sole exception of Full Combo Mickey. The barrel minigame was zero trouble for me, I got all 14 on my second attempt lol. Also is there a reason why the Pink Balloon doesn't have an achievement associated with it or did the dev forget about it?

I sure wish the cute little ghost returns sometime.

To address why the pink balloon doesn't have an achievement. Item memory in this game is a mess. 2 items in this room share a memory address but one of them has a secondary and the pink balloon doesn't. So there is not a reliable way to check if the pink balloon is the item that is picked up. Until a way is found to address that there won't be a pink balloon achievement.

If anyone else is stuck on the barrel game this might help.

Don't try to be too accurate waiting for fast or slow barrels etc. Wait till you hear the ghost laugh and a split second later let go of your fireball. Once you've been doing it for for so long you will realise that going steady is impossible, you have to hit then almost before the first bounce. Thought I would never get it done but my method was too "traditonal"

Dolphin is unfortunately a little too janky with this game in general. Dunno if they intend to fix that at some point.

I wasn't a huge fan of this one, but it's an easy master for another 2 points to contribute towards the GameCube event. Capcom also saw fit to include a clocktower in this game...which is more than can be said for Resident Evil 3 remake...

Special Barrel Blaster is such bullshit it's not even funny. Highest I've been able to get is 12 and after reading that one comment by BaronVonMetz about how the ghost sometimes only throws 13 instead of 14, I'm just gonna pass on this one. It isn't worth all the hassle for an extra point for the Gamecube event. Tried following ViviREbirth's advice and the few times I was able to actually get the fireballs to connect it felt more like luck than me getting the timing. Every time I THOUGHT I got the timing, the fireball would somehow just BARELY miss the barrel on subsequent attempts. Sad part is it seems like that's the only way to actually get that achievement and I'm not willing to spend another hour on this crap (or Dance Master Mickey for that matter but that shit is another story)... I'll at least say congrats to everyone who mastered this. You've a greater tolerance for this than me, that's for sure.

@AuraOfTheDawn - Yeah, same here. Glad you were at least able to master the game, but I share your pain in being "lied to", that's for sure.

I didn't find the barrel game to be that frustrating. I just kept my eyes at the upper portion of the screen where the faster barrels would come out. If I didn't see a barrel there, I knew I didn't need to release almost immediately and I would have to wait a beat for the slow one.

It should also be noted that you don't need to be absolutely perfect and get the barrel as soon as they appear on screen, but odds are if they bounce a few times you are going to fall behind and not be able to make 14.

Well, I finally got it after cooling off a bit and playing some other games, but honestly how I managed to get it was, as I said before, by hitting at least two before they made their first bounce (I still thought it was somewhat frustrating, but meh). Your advice, Balrog, does sound helpful, so even though I didn't put it to practice this time I thank you for it anyhow as I'm sure it'll help someone struggling.

Aside from some graphical errors and some thicc slowdown in the fishbowl room this was a pretty alright time! Would have liked this game if I grew up with it but for now it's just alright. ^^ The barrel minigame is a bit hard but if you focus on hitting the slow ones before their first bounce and let the faster barrels bounce at least once you should get it quickly! There's juuust enough time to recognize which barrel speed it's gonna be and react accordingly.

I just checked it on my phone, reassigning it to the D-pad control stick and came to the conclusion that you need to immediately register the buttons when the green outline appears, then the dances will be perfect
