If you want to master this set, be aware - achievements for bosses don't trigger (except the first one, once you revisit his boss room).

Sorry for the inconvenience, since progression achievements seems to have a general problem I decided to demote the set until I be able to fix it.

Ohhh, I was about to ask where the achievements went until I saw Pebete's comment. Hope everything is fixed soon. I need to play this on Xbox as well and get some achievements on it. Hope the second game gets support too, to fill in the blank.

The set is back to core and I added few achievements based in Steam Onimusha set, thanks to AngeloLeonhart for the resource.
Also progression achievements must be done in Normal Mode, just collectibles can me made in Ultimate.

Current plan for my run:
Collect all items on the route, kill most enemies with issen, don't enhance weapons at all, collect but not use jewels, go fast. For out of the way items for achievements, grab them, get achievement, then reload to save ingame time. Follow the speedrun 100% route as closely as possible, using the reloaded collection of certain items to save time and guarantee S rank and make up for the lost time due to weaker weapons. Count every monster I kill, making sure to go over 600 (requirement for S rank). After getting S rank, reload and use all jewels, and fully upgrade the weapons.
Gonna take lots of reloading though, as I am not nearly as optimized as speedrunners are, but there's no reason to keep to the same constraints speedrunners have either.
Note: Gotta figure out why the ultimate difficulty speedrun record is faster than the normal difficulty record. May be able to use that difference for more timesaving.

Figured out why ultimate is faster. You apparently start out with everything upgraded already. No time saves there.

Done with that run... Took way too many reloads for comfort. Fully possible though! Also, conserve ammo for the fight against Hecuba. You will need it.
Now I just need to complete that minigame and I'll be done!
