I don't know why grind is still necessary, just completed golden sun and it has a cheevo based on grind, took me one entire day, was no fun at all.

The logical path here is grinding e-crystal and then upgrade the life to max to two achievements with one stone.

Just nerfed Lito's Energy to 5.000 E-Crystals now. It should be noted that this grind doesn't take long even if it was 9999 if you use Cyber-elfs that increase your drop rate.

I don't know why people complain about grind in the MMZ games - you need more than 10k crystals to max out every cyber elf, and without using elves to increase drop rate I'm at 2740 after getting to the second mid stage.

Considering you're probably going for all the EX skills if you care about the E crystals achievement, you'd be a little limited in what elves you could use anyway - and you'd be picking up a lot of disks with crystals in them, making this a whole lot faster.

Plus, I don't know about MMZ3, but I know MMZ1 starts you with 9999 crystals on Ultimate mode, and there's an Ultimate Mode achievement in this set and you'd have no use for crystals on that save file.

You're only going to end up grinding for crystals in these games if you go out of your way to do it.

Not gonna lie - if you're coming into this without already being a master of this game, this set is hell. Especially with the recent additions.

But if you really like this game? It's a lot of fun and more doable than it looks. The Zero series probably has the highest skill ceiling of any of the Mega Man games, and it's deeply rewarding to master Zero 3 - especially if you learn some of the combos you can pull off with the EX skills.
