So after reading the comments here, I decided to try vba-m. Turns out when playing on my android phone, the mgba was crashing as soon as I confirmed character names. When I switched to vba-m it worked. Currently using 1.16.0, just figured I would post what I have seen this week.

Man, I enjoyed this game so much as a kid. Definitely didn't hit the same these days. But it's a very chill experience if you're taking your time with it and going in blind. No reason to rush just be careful with those missable achievements!

Mastery #3 ! 13:07:51. First time playing this game. It's actually very cute and creative. I liked the system of having to find words to complete the puzzles. The story was also engaging enough for a kid's game. I tried to complete it mostly on my own, but still needed to resort to guides for a few parts. But overall, it was a fun mastery.

First mastery ever, and on a good game. This is real underrated, got me into Hamtaro too- So I guess advertising does work if it's cute hamsters. Can be a bit wonky at times, so a walk-through is recommended, but other than that, a hidden gem of a game.

Remember this from childhood, now playing this with my daughter. Quality game for kids. 🐹 And yeah, I used VBA-M to get to run (gpSP gave issues). Apparently it requires real accurate timing of the cpu or whatever and VBA-M seems to be the only core that can do this sufficiently.

Btw if you care about mastering the set, read up on the three missable achievements in advance. If you know about the requirements it’s easy to get all of them and you won’t have to play through the entire game twice.

Mastered! Stickie Note took me more tries than I dare to admit. Unless you're god at this mini-game you basically need the time ups. Scraped by with 1070 because I had three pink papers fall down in the last 5 seconds. Was fun replaying this game from my childhood and actually complete it. Thanks for the set! :)

First mastery! Always loved this game, never fails to bring a smile to my face. Managed to see some new little things I'd never seen before prior to this playthrough, this game is just so full of little details. Great set, cheers

My first Mastered game! I played this one as a kid and never finished it because I could never get the hang of sliding puzzles - I still struggle with them, to be honest. But the achievements finally pushed me to complete this lovely little game and I'll be getting a tattoo of my pookies later this year :) Thanks for the set!

This one felt so much longer back in the day, but it's not surprising considering how convoluted some parts are. Lol, not sure how I figured all that out without using a guide when I was a kid. Today I shamefully needed a guide for a few things at the end.

The sleepy hamster is a good way to get some in-game hints, though, but he starts to become more unhelpful towards the end.

I wholeheartedly miss this series.

Man, mastering both this and Ham Hams Unite really did bring me back. Fun little games, though the road to 100% completion can be a tad vague at points. I definitely recommend playing as blind as possible, but don't be ashamed to use a walkthrough to find some of the more obscure ham-chats near the end.
