note: when you save in between chapters, there's a small delay before you get the achievement for beating the chapter (after the save screen fades out). Do NOT reset your emulator between this period or you won't get the achievement. The achievement needs to recognize that you were in the previous chapter. I thought it's worth mentioning in case you lose power or what-have-you, and you end up not unlocking the achievement because of this.

Finally mastered!

This one was TOUGH. A majority of the achievements, no big deal. Plot what achievements you want to go for each playthrough (recruit X characters, grab Member Card, visit Secret Shops, etc.) and just expect you’ll be playing the story over several times. There will likely be failures too.

General obvious tip: Use a chapter-by-chapter guide or Wiki to know what’s going to be there so you’re ready.

General less obvious tip: Some achievements require slow, slow grinding and chasing things down. Some achievements require being very aggressive and fast. This means you’ll give yourself hell trying to do it all at once. I’ll make a following post about the path I think you should take.

The truly difficult ones will be the S rank Tactician ranks, and beating Chapter 19xx.

For the S ranks, make sure you use the cheapest Iron weapons wherever possible (cheapest to replace, most durability), do not use buffing items like Goddess Icon, use close to no Promotion items (mix up your characters to ensure constant EXP gain), fight aggressively and win fast. Any non-NPC/Merlinus death is an instant chapter reset. No selling items too, stuff them in unused character inventories. Items have a reduced value when sold for gold. Check the Rank under Fortune each chapter, and make sure you are all 5 stars before saving over the file.

Chapter 19xx, you need to play Lyn’s story first (normal is fine), and make sure Nils gets to at least Level 7. Just take a Seize chapter and spam Nils until he gets there. From there, make sure you continue that file into Hector’s mode (normal is fine), get to Chapter 19x, and make sure you actually kill Kishuna. It is NOT easy since Kishuna has high stats and will likely evade you. That should unlock Chapter 19xx.

This is the path I think you should take:

1. Lyn Normal Mode (Get Nils to Level 7, level up other units well. On Chapter 10, before the final winning move, copy the save file and keep it. This is so you can carry decent units into Eliwood’s story now, but also keep a copy with Level 7 Nils when you unlock Hector Story.)

2. Eliwood Normal Mode (Go for S rank. Follow tips from previous post. There are a couple branching chapters, take note of which ones you land on so we can avoid revisiting them later. You don’t have time for the Member Card or secret shops on this playthrough, forget them.)

3. Hector Normal Mode (Load up that copied near-finished Lyn file with Level 7 Nils, finish it and continue onto Hector Normal mode). Follow steps above to ensure you get Chapter 19xx done. The branching chapters you got in Eliwood’s Story? Take the steps needed to ensure you don’t revisit them here. Alternate branches hold new recruits and achievements. Rank is no longer important in this one, so steal the Member Card, visit all the secret shops you can on this path.

4. Lyn Hard Mode (On Hard Mode, projected Hit chances appear to be a lot more tipped against you. I can’t tell you how many 80%+ hits I missed, and how many sub 30% hits I got hit by on Hard mode. Aside from that, you need to refollow the S Rank guidelines to ensure you S Rank Lyn’s Hard story.)

5. Hector Hard Mode (Finally. This one is by far the hardest. Loads more enemies, more aggressive weapons, less assets, lower hit chances, you name it. However, ranking is no longer important, so play safe, overpower some units and promote freely. Just one thing, re-grab the Member Card, make sure you don’t revisit the same branch chapters as the Hector Normal run, and recruit the characters you missed and visit the other secret shops. Also make sure you get Bartre to Level 5 Warrior and bring him to Chapter 32x. Karla can only be recruited with that specific requirement.

Could be great if they add one archivement for finding the secret dialogue between Hector and Mathew early in the game. It's hilarious.

I might be in the minority here, but I think FE7 and 8 should have Subsets for completing the Support gallery.

Maybe an achievement for each character once their Support combinations are 100%. Of course, this would be a grindy/replay heavy set, but it would be in line with the FE6 bonus character subset that exists.

I just beat 27E(normal) Cog of Destiny by having Priscilla stand in front of Lloyd (I had done 23A; my lords had high levels). Lloyd's light brand could not damage her from range since it counts as light magic and has half the might at two range, and since Lloyd doubled Priscilla, he burned through his 25 durability very quickly. You can make him swing six times per turn by attacking him, dancing for Priscilla, attacking again, and taking two more on enemy phase. I do not know how will this works in the other modes, nor do I know if this can be done against Linus, but you should have at least one unit with good enough defenses to try this with bosses that only have one weapon. I only bothered commenting about this because I have heard complaints about this chapter, and I beat it on my first try.

Also, it was during 27E that I realized the only reason Erk is not strictly outclassed by Priscilla is his slightly better speed and the fact that he has had more time to build up nature rank. My Priscilla has 16 magic, whereas my Erk only has 12.
