I agree, the twins AI pattern is so bad. Wait for them to land and then you have to backdrop them. Takes a lot of saving for stage 5 and then stage 8 because you have to gauntlet every boss in that final level so your up against the twins again! It's so hard.

It's a great game indeed, and imo the only SoR game where characters are super balanced, like they all have their advantages and disadvantages where in the sequels you get one character who is clearly better than others...

Still though I love SoR games, just mastered this set today and so happy that it's my first mastery!
Clearing Round 8 deathless is the toughest cheevo for sure, I recommend using savestates to practice twins and Mr. X fights, once you know how to beat them everything else is rather easy, like nothing to worry about Superbly Streetwise.

What? SoR 1 is the least balanced of them all. Axel and Adam suck hard (specially Adam), the difficulty drops by a lot playing as Blaze do to her speed and reach, it's almost a day vs night.

For the people having trouble with the Twins, there's a easy way to cheese them. Stand on a corner with your back facing them and spam your character's back-attack (B + C or Attack + Jump) when the approach. The back-attack by passes their hit box when they do flying kicks.

Blaze has good reach and speed but low damage, Adam has insane reach and damage with his jump kicks but he's slow, Axel is fast and strong but has bad reach... That's what a good balance is... Axel is way better than others in SoR 2, you can just spam ground upper through the whole game and that's it, you get crazy iframes and damage. Can't talk about 3 as I didn't really play it much. I love 4 and think it's the best game in the series but it has to be one of the most unbalanced games of all time... Adam is way faster than Blaze and Axel somehow, some characters like Shiva and Estel are so overpowered, etc... you probably didn't play streets much especially 4 if you think 1 is the least balanced and Adam just sucks in it...

This entire balancing thing is understandable though, when you add more and more content it gets more difficult to balance I guess... SoR 1 is a pretty simple game comparing to its sequels, you don't even have blitz moves in it while for example 4 has tons of new stuff like juggling, air specials, alternate move sets, star moves, etc.

This is my proudest mastery to date. Loved this game growing up and glad this set exists to come back as an adult for an all new challenge. For those struggling... Adam's jump kick FTW. WEE-AHH!

The fact that some of these achievements are built around you being near perfect is an absolutely ridiculous concept because just about everything about this game feels wrong. Movement feels wrong. Attacking feels wrong. Jumping feels wrong. The only thing that's good about this game is the music. Streets of Rage 2 and 3 still holds up. This game doesn't.

Congratulations to everyone who completed the set and good luck to anyone working to... I'm moving on.

Completar todos los logros de uno de mis juegos favoritos de Sega Mega Drive como es "Streets Of Rage" me ha parecido una experiencia brutal. Hay logros realmente complicados como el de eliminar a MR.X sin perder una vida porque está rotísimo y quita una cantidad ingente de vida, es muy difícil hasta que averiguas por donde le puedes pillar el patrón de bloqueo. El modo hardest cuando te has pasado el juego varias veces y conoces el patrón de los enemigos, no es tan complicado. Tiene algunos puntos críticos pero nada, es ensayo y error básicamente. Los jefes del juego siempre hacen lo mismo por lo que es muy sencillo idear una estrategia para eliminarlos rápidamente
