Almost done with the achievements, definitely a great set! But man, Extra Star Cup on 150cc is actually a nightmare to get good rank in. Everything until this point was doable, but this is genuinely a terrible cup to deal with the ranking system. Thank goodness there is no need to get Triple Star's on these Extra cups 'cause it would be a nightmare lol

First master of 2023… excited to never touch this game again hahahaha. It’s a great set but super circuit, just like the original is stressful af to play (although it does handle considerably better) gl gl :)

I like to think of this game as taking place after a peace deal is brokered between Bowser and the Mushroom Kingdom given that bowser's minions and the toads are celebrating in harmony on the victory screen.

I also imagine that because of the native american inspired shy guys that they got left out of the deal and are trampled on by both kingdoms to the point of having their home used as a racetrack.

Mastered. Nicely done set that ive no complaints with the. The extreme RNG in the other hand that makes completing some of the extra cups with a higher ranking? Pure insanity. The amount of times id have to restart because it would suddenly out of nowhere feed the AI almost unlimited red shells or something equally stupid was maddening.

All in all though, excellent game and a decent set of challenges.

Completing Super Mario Kart was a pretty miserable experience for me, but I’m actually having fun with this one! This game is a vast improvement in terms of both controls and track design. The three-star system is awkward, but it’s nowhere near as frustrating as trying to beat SMK normally.

Mastered! This was a tough, but mostly positive experience. The SMK courses on 150cc were the most annoying thing to do, despite the fact that it wasn’t necessary to get three stars on them. One day I’ll spend hours trying to three-star the SMK cups, but for now I’m more than happy to put this game to rest.

Great game, I'm a big fan of this and the SNES game. Box Smaher took a while until I realised you need the triple mushroom on time trial.

First mastery. Very fun game and really fair set. Not sure I would have had it in me to go for it if the extra cups had a triple star requirement as well.

Go straight for 150cc cups, pick either Bowser or DK and practice. Is not than difficult specially if you have first MK completed previously. I found MK64 much more difficult than this game, maybe I'm bias 'cause nostalgia, don't know

I didn’t think I had it in me to master this but it just took some practice. The AI are a cheating bunch of bastards and that Extra Special Cup on 150cc cost me some of my hair but it’s done. Luigi and Yoshi got me some of those 150cc three star achievements.

Completado, luego de saber como sacar 3 estrellas, realmente me desanime, conseguir las 3 estrellas en las copas al menos para mi se sintió insatisfactorio. Pero bueno, ya lo termine, no es mi MK favorito. y nada...

Awesome, keen to give these a try. Super Circuit is one of my favorites in the series and I enjoyed the OG set. Happy to have more reasons to go back.
