Mini Mario does unlock, but the variable is possibly unstable. start a new file.beat the game and beat the game PLUS should unlock on the credits, respectively.

This game may also need complete all levels with 3 stars, including bonus level.

Use Mario vs Donkey Kong (E) (M5) [b] to get Mini Mario achievement, but after that I think any version works. The check for Mini Marios in (UA) is handled differently, as that location in memory holds something else.

Had to use the E rom to get the Alive achievement since yet again on (UA) the value used for life tracking is used for something else.

I would report Not this Time didn't trigger due to a wrong value...but the creator of the achievements hasn't been on the site for at least two years now. This obviously was made with a E rom for the achievements...

beat the first world with all stars, i didnt get the achievements for completing the world or the achievement for getting all stars for that world

Hmm... There is this common issue about achievements not working when you load a gba rom too fast. Maybe it was that. Also, you get the "completed" achivement, and for the star one, maybe you didn't get it at the boss, I guess?

juicetown23 is right. I'm having the same issue. Beat World 1 100% and I didn't get either of the achievements.

They both got it later, and SlimKirby confirmed he used the wrong rom version. Are you sure you're playing on E-Rising Sun rom version, and that you're on the first save file?

I used "Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It)" , versions (U) and E-Rising Sun dont work. Just in case someone has problems as I had. To find it just google it or msg me if you dont find it.

Maybe it's because I'm using "Mario vs. Donkey Kong (USA, Australia)", but it won't log in, yet it works for other roms like "Dr. Mario (Japan, USA)" for NES.
