Mastered! Thanks SlashTangent for this set! It was great to revisit a childhood game. I enjoyed playing this! To be honest, I expected some more challenges like deathless run, picking X cans on some stages and etc, even use of Marko's Backyard :p

I didn't remember well that Forest stage was so tough though :v I will try a deathless run someday which is something that I never did before, since the game gets real serious after Level 8 Suburbia... :/

The game has a curious bug that happens when you have 2 lives (1 and 0) and touch slime or water deathzones. You will lose both lives: Life 1 and Life 0, giving a instantly Game Over. This wasn't supposed to happen as Life 0 gets wasted xD

I thought about adding get x cans or stars per level but I ran into issues with the memory. I couldn't find a consistent way to account for the player gaining more than one on a single frame. I was able to account for that on level 3.

I also thought about bosses damageless or kill all enemies in a level. The issue I hit there was the address where enemy hp gets placed was dynamic.

Ah ok... Understandable enough since I found the latter problem on a Sonic 1 hack too - which may be present on vanilla game: Boss HP address gets placed randomly, but always having 40 addresses of distance to each other...

If you know all combinations, maybe you can solve this with Alts, but this is pretty risky since there is no way to confirm this :/ Neither a pointer pointing to address I could find. So, no "AddAddress" flag was possible to use either...

About stars and cans, I think I figured the issue now: Ball Bomb, right? This is the only other way to get more than 1 star on a single frame by not getting the Big Star. Dunno, if this applies to cans too (but, it does pop nearby balloons)...
