Thanks I followed your tips previously. For the time trial the 99k class a car max upgraded is the way. For corners, I found out that you can push direction like 1 second then release then push again. You don't lose speed. If a corner requires you to maintain the direction and you drop speed, just hit the wall. You lose less speed hitting the wall than drifting

Honestly, I played worse games than this, to call this game shit is doing a major disservice. It's at least playable, I would give it at least a 6, maybe a 7 at best.

Now, you want a shitty racing game, trust me, not even the GBA has those. Hooters Road Trip or Taxi 2 on the PSX are something else. Past me was really, really dumb.

I believe zoomer AVGN would refer to this game as "ahh"

Unsure if this works forever as I did not do much besides going for the weekly, but it was faster to do one rival race, quit to garage and get back in as it would spawn you closer to a new rival.

I don't get why people expect a GOTY on a GBA game while they watch YourFavoriteStreamer/YTber playing yet another streamer game over and over. There are way worse games.
Also you don't even need to buy anything for AOTW, just git gud, AI is very cheeseable.

Really boring racing game that slow for absolutely no reason :/

Anyways here a tip on how to get the AOTW: First, enter Tokyo 1 then start a battle with the first rival you see, after you win, choose "return to garage", then enter Tokyo 1 again and start a battle with the first rival, rinse and repeat until you've unlocked Tokyo 2, from this point you can continue this process in either Tokyo 1 or Tokyo 2, but I recommend Tokyo 1 since 2 has a lot of sharp turns that can slow you down, once you've beaten 5 Knights go to Tokyo 2, win against the final Knights rival and get the cheevo

Yes, and a good tip to boot. I actually didn't know about the "return to garage, reenter track" trick until a ways in. I've gotten through much faster thanks to reading that.

Despite playong it at speed x2 due to being too slow, and the traffic usually just moving to hit me, I think this racing game for the GBA is decent. I used to love Mario Kart Super Circuit, and nowadays if I play it I think "What is this shit", so imo in this game at least when you turn you know where you going haha

I don't play a lot of racing games, but for the time, and for the gba, this is pretty good! I could imagine getting this as a kid and sinking days or weeks into it before eventually getting bored. All in all, 7/10 probably won't play again!

Phew! This gets a LOT more tolerable once you purchase the Transmission 2 Upgrade and the first Engine upgrade.

Make sure you back out of the Garage menu to do a hard save, Hardcores!

@Manufacturer No upgrades at all and default paint color. If you’ve already upgraded your car, you can remove them all and it will still count.

Mastery 378! Most of the game seemed alright, but the Quick Race challenges were a little bland to me. Framerate is decent, everything becomes faster once the cars get upgraded I promise.
