Mastered. If you're like me and you've never played tetris too much before, it's not easy as others say. It's very hard. But if you keep trying, you WILL get better. Just keep grinding.

Man ...i know this the Tetris that make the Game Boy a legend, but if you let the pieces pile up a little too much there is simple no room to move so i can really make big combos , i guess i leave this one to the real pro's

I did the 200 lines achievement on the Japanese rom and everything else on the US one. I don't think i would've been able to get 200 lines otherwise. It was fun learning Tetris and it made my heart rate go up. >_<

This was by far the most rage inducing set I've completed to date. The last time I raged this hard at a game was back in 2015 with Dark Souls, when Manus drained all my patience to the point where I stopped playing for an entire week before attempting again.

I was deceived when I looked at the set's score and thought it would be easy. The set itself is straightforward; I have no complaints about the achievement developer, the goals are clear and to the point.

The real issue is the RNG, or more accurately, the AI seems to have a mind of its own and will do everything to sabotage you. Try the achievements for 200 lines and 200k points and you will see the prime examples of this.

Countless times, I was just one specific piece away from saving the game, and it never showed up. The gap remained, waiting for that one piece. And the very moment you place the wrong piece, blocking any chance of progressing, the piece you needed suddenly appears. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.

You'll need luck and, more importantly, patience. A lot of patience.
I'll be steering clear of Tetris for quite a while.

4th game I mastered! It was kinda fast though, NES Tetris has more achievements but GB Tetris is as much as fun

My 2nd Mastered game on RA. I prefer Nintendo's NES version to the this one, because you'll have to tap at fast speeds to keep up on mid-teen levels onward on this version (holding left or right isn't as 'fast' as the NES game). That said, I still have nostalgia and fondness for this one, and I like to go play B-type 9-5 every so often to see its ending screen.
