Are there two mushrooms on level 6-2? I couldn’t find a second potion and couldn’t find a guide online that said where to find it, yet the achievement didn’t pop when I completed it with three hearts

I know the mushroom you are missing Gorgar: I was also surprised when I found it. Trust me when I say there are two mushrooms in 6-2.

For the most part i followed both an "all ace coins and mushrooms" video and the strategywiki guides for these, but even those aren't fully infallible. The latter one has several shrooms missing, so always be on the lookout.

PROTIP: DO NOT try the "Mushroom" achievements in Yoshi Challenge Mode, because a lot of them disappear in this mode, you need a fresh Save File

Mastered! Funnily enough, these last two cheevos (deathless-warpless + Mario Bros.) that've been haunting me for months are the ones I got first try on two different, successive days. Also getting to Phase 99 was not the nightmare I imagined and more about consistency since you reach the "ceiling" pretty quickly.

For some reason the Mario Bros makes my RetroArch crash, while the main game plays perfectly fine.

I think that the Mario Bros. Arcade side game should be a subset. It makes no sense as to why it's in this set and not the others. Sure, it started off here, but if the thought process is that it shows mastery of the game, then shouldn't all of the subsets that have this side mode have it? I think it'd be a better subset

Imagine a "Super Mario Advance series" subset for Mario Bros. Arcade that has all 4 entries linked so you could do it on any of the 4 games...that would be a neat idea once you don't need patches to play subsets.

Phew. Mastery #18. That completes my trophy trilogy of NES, All-Stars, and GBA for this game. That 99 phase thing wasn't so bad...but damn tedious.

COMpletion #21 Ace Coins Mushrooms Warp Paths Bosses Yoshi Eggs Multiple Playthroughs & 99 Phases, Oh My
First off the Mario Bros part
It’s fun and it did get difficult as the phases went on but as long as you know how to complete it it’s doable
Now the Super Mario Bros 2 (Super Mario Bros USA) part
So many collectables and multiple playthroughs almost made me quit but I still pushed on and it was fun I recommend it to everyone I’m glad I’m done with this game I’ll tackle the other 3 Super Mario Advance games in the future

All 3 SMB 2 games have been mastered + Doki Doki Panikku on the Famicom Disk System.
Mario Bros. Classic here cost me a lot of time. It is not that hard, but getting to Phase 99 wasnt that easy.
As a tip i can only say, stay ALWAYS in the middle of the platform ( https://i.ibb.co/PY8RSDq/Screenshot-1.png ), because from Phase 38 you have a big problem if you move around there and you lose life by running and moving. It is very easy to run up right at the beginning and kill the first two enemies. The only thing that is dangerous is the green poison cloud and the ice block that you can walk into while killing the enemies.
