It isn't broken. There are total of 5 wall meats on the Chapel stage, but one of them isn't checking beacause of flashing memory (the 3rd in the following sequence). This means you have to pick up 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th to unlock it.

Can confirm that the no-damage boss achievements DO reset when you get a game over, so you don't have to start the whole level over. No idea why it doesn't reset on death. Tried looking at the achievements but couldn't figure it out.

some more data: it seems the whip achievements don't work if you game over. I game overed on the leather one, didn't trigger, then did it without a game over and it worked

Similarly, Soleiyu Belmont seems to be the one boss that does NOT reset upon game over + continue, though I have not tried stage select to reset him

ok well it worked that time for soleiyu and I continued about 4 times but do so at your own peril, it isn't that consistent unless something else bugged it

I would love to be able to play the Dracula Densetsu II rom and earn achievements. Perhaps the JP version could be added as a supported game file or even make a new achievement set or perhaps a sub-set. The reason I ask is because I prefer the playing experience of the boomerang Cross as the sub-weapon instead of the Axe. Thanks
