If playing on Retroarch PC, I recommend using Pointer style touch controls and turning on Game Focus (Scroll Lock key by default). This prevents you from sliding off-screen with dragging motions.

Anyone got any tips on screens/equipment to look into to play this game on? It's such a touch-heavy game - how shall I play it on PC/Linux? I'd love to master it, I did irl as well.

If your mobile device can handle DS emulation, use that. After all, mobiles and tablets have touchscreens!

Anybody looking for good graphics tablets to use for games like this, I recommend the XPPen Artist series. They're affordable and good. Use touch mode when using one.

I was wondering.... since some pins evolve through mingle EXP, is there a way to trick the emulator and give mingle EXP or these pins are left out of this set? I wish to complete the pin collection but because of Mingle points, it seems impossible :(

Pretty sure there are ways to emulate wireless connection, but even if you can't figure that out, you can still get Mingle PP with a single DS/emulator by just waiting in Mingle Mode. Every once in a while the game will give a fake pity streetpass.

MelonDS newest builds allow for more then one instance of the emulator to connect with one another, letting you gain easy Mingle hits, but this set is made knowing you won't be able to get evolved pins much.
