some information on the game's scoring system:
- waiters and blue guards are consistently worth the least points in each stage, whereas shielded guards and large purple guards are worth the most
- squashing an enemy behind a door will double, sometimes triple the amount of points received
- squashing the shielded guards using the levers on stage 4 will grant you 4000 points
- the time bonus received at the end of each stage is your remaining seconds, multiplied by 10

excellent info by wattleby above! Also i just mastered and found easiest way to farm points is lvl 9 there are 2 of the big purple guys and just line them up and keep drilling them, and when they get up get them again until time runs out. you lose 1 life and restart the level but you should have some to spare hopefully and doing it once will get you plenty of points to spare

1st Master. I loved playing this when I was younger with my little brother. Little did I know that we were doing speedruns tactics during casual gameplay until I was looking up tips for speedrunning.

In the fourth level, you can repeatedly squash one of the guards until you get the score achievements.

Platinado! E nossa senhora que versão horrível desse jogo. É estupidamente mais fácil, mesmo no hard, do que na versão do Master System, por incrível que pareça. Devido a baixa variedade de inimgos, uma IA muito mais burra e um jogo todo muito mais devagar é mt fácil desviar dos guardas. O chato é que as vezes os controles são tão duros que vc calcula errado e dá tempo de algum inimigo te acertar, mas fora isso, a dificuldade é quase nula. E não tem fases bonus também.

O jogo tem poucas, mas tem algumas vantagens em relação a do Master System que são gráficos ligeiramente melhores (a.k.a o nível 9 é mt legal devido aos inumeros easters eggs de outros jogos da Sega) e claro um modo cooperativo simultaneo (que talvez nem seja tao relevante assim pro contexto do RA). Mas ainda sim a versão do MS é mt mais divertida, desafiadora e original.

For some reason the game is not being detected for me on RetroArch. The ROM is from the Genesis collection on Steam. Genesis Plus GX and Picodrive were both tested with no luck.
