As a content warning even beyond the infamous violence: there's a fair bit of transphobic language in one of the trials. The far-over-the-top "violent DID alter" trope is also unfortunate, but at least fits the tone the game's going for; there's no reason for the transphobia.

Started on it for the AoTM having heard a lot about it, turned out be a really amazing experience. Thank for the set! Still omw to master it (hope the emulator and keyboard does not make it all that hard...)

Mastered! Fantastic game that is unfortunately ruined by its fandom. The MTB battles are tricky but once you get the hang of them its smooth sailing. I would also like to thank my bff for showing me the game and the series. Cant wait to start the 2nd one ! Fujisaki <3

I just finished my first ever play through of this, I've never played any of these games or watched the anime. I knew absolutely nothing about it, went in totally blind. Holy Sh*t, wtf did i just play? This game had me hooked for almost 4 days now, had to see what happened to those kids shit was crazy af. i'm not usually into visual novel-y games but damn this was a great game! Can't wait to play the second one! thanks blendedsea for making this set, it was quite a ride.

@KingSlayer420 - If you like Danganronpa, you should also check out the Zero Escape games if you haven't already. The DR creator and the ZE creator are drinking buddies and basically each other's target audience. Both series reference the other multiple times, which is most heavily seen in the trophy/achievement names for Danganronpa 1-2.

I'm going to attempt the master with this then jump over to 2. Chap 6 has me a bit worried with the perfect court, its very long. Wish this version had the school mode.

None of the download inks work at all for the patch for this, which is a shame as I started playing the game ages ago on vita but never finished it.

For some reason RetroAchievements doesn't recognize the ROM, I tried to download it from two different sites and it didn't work, I'm not sure if the problem is the ROM or the emulator I'm using (PPSSPP).
Has anyone had this same problem or have any tips?
