Great set, a lot to keep track of. I don't think I've ever been so overleveled in a game. It was from trying to get all the drops. For the perfectionist achievement, make sure you have over 501 fish in your inventory. I trusted the guy on Hamachou Island who said I had over 501, but he counted it when I had 99 of a variety and picked up more. Great game and I was happy to play it again in a way I wouldn't normally.

Dude... this sounds like a nightmare. The ones that scare me the most are the 3 cheevos related to magic spell progression (especially the one where tou have to learn the same magic with 4 different characters at the same time) and the rare drops.

I'm having an issue where Retro Achievements isn't recognizing this game when it is in a m3u folder for Emudeck on Steam Deck. It recognizes Parasite Eve for the PSX in the same m3u format though. if anyone has a fix any help would be appreciated.

What a shame that SoA has a "Perfect Game" ingame challenge (as these should be present in a set). It destroyed any will to play this set :(

Mastered. One of my all-time favourite games. The amount of the achievements is gigantic and I learned a few new things like Ramirez and Fina's rooms in Great Silver Shrine. I also learned that RNG hates me with those item drops. Most of them were fine, but imagine grinding 4 hours for a Throwing Blade or a Riselem Box. Definitely won't forget about those two. But on the plus side, I'm glad that these "subset" achievements are on the main set right now. It was very convenient for me.

I had a lot of fun with this set and I really appreciate the hard work that must have gone into making all of this work. However, I must admit that I think the Perfect Game achievement has to be one of the most unfun achievements I have ever seen in any game. Because of this achievement alone, I decided before even starting the game that I just wasn't even going to attempt to complete it. I know it's an in-game challenge, but this is a rare case where I think it SHOULDN'T have been included in the core set. Just my two cents of course!

Mastered. Man, that was rough, but worth it for one of the best JRPGs out there. I love that the subset is integrated into the main set for now, which saves a lot of time. It took me 109 hours in total, but it's much less in reality thanks to the fast-forward button, which is a lifesaver. There are a few drops that will easily take two hours to get, so good luck.

One error I've found is that the "wave bomb" is marked as not missable on the checklist, but from my understanding, it is missable, as I missed it myself. But thankfully the perfect achievement accepts the missing of one item. Additionally, the vidal seed drop from the monster in Shrine Island is actually missable from my understanding, though it isn't marked as such. It, along with many other items, are missable following the events after going to Dangral Island for the second time. So make extra sure you aren't missing anything that will be gone after that part of the game.

I wish I had read these FAQs when mastering the game lol. One thing that is missable and isn't marked is definitely the Completion chests cheevos for dungeons that have Moonberries in chests. If you got 99 Moonberries at any point in the game and you've already unlocked all the special moves, you're screwed. That happened to me while in the final dungeon, and I was very fortunate that the developer actually manually unlocked the achievement, because that was before he put the warning in the forum.
