tudo bem. è que já aconteceu com outros jogos de atualizarem, e ficar errado por tempão e eu tive que rejogar, o Altered Beast do Mega Drive tiraram e até agora as conquistas realizadas ficaram sumidas, refizeram as conquistas de um jogo do Ranma 1/2 que eu tinha platinado e até hj fiquei sem a platina realizadas. Em jogo curto não é nem problema, rejoguei o Megaman 4 e o Megaman V do GB que eu já tinha terminado e não apareceia o "Beaten" mas jogo longo complica. Se fazer bonitinho não vejo problemas, é que como já aconteceu com jogo anteriores fiquei com receio. Desculpem o incomodo

hey, are you going to manual unlock the progress cheevos for everyone that already beaten the game??? I'm asking because I didn't even know that the set got a revision

a request was already made to unlock all progression achievements for everyone that already mastered or earned specific achievements, it's just gonna take some time since they are made manually and there are hundreds of people in the line

I get the progression ones, but why the new 'All spells' achievement?
Do we need to have our old save by chance to get it? Will we lose our badge because the game will be Beaten and not Mastered?
Wasn't there a Level 99 achievement before that could serve as proof for manual unlock?

@angelo - you never lose a badge after a revision. If you met the requirements for the all spells cheev, you can go to the discord and ask for a manual unlock. Progression cheevs are already being manual unlocked for players who met their qualifications.

The progression cheevos and All Spells cheevo were necessary, but a damn near whole play through for 5 points was a little excessive. God bless fastforward.

Sure hope previous players who mastered this set kept their saves.

I agree with most points behind the revision, but was it really necessary to add an achievement for learning all spells at that point? I was lucky to have a backup save but making people replay everything for one grinding achievement doesn't look right, worse if you think that the logic behind this new achievement is not so different in nature from the demoted power leveling. If this wasn't a revision I wouldn't see a problem, but this is no new set.

The reasoning of the "all spells" is twofold:

1) It was a request, and a request I believed to make sense because...

2) It's a core mechanic of the game. You have a "complete mage" after learning all the spells in the exact same way you collect all tools/blitzes/lores/rages. It has the same logical basis for any of those existing. And it's not a mechanic that is typically repeated in other RPGs (where you may buy spells, just use equipment, gain via level-up, or temporarily have spells depending on the equipped items). Contrast leveling to 99 which is basically every RPG (or replace "99" with a "max level number").

If you have a good argument for why it should be demoted, reach out to DevComp. I won't lose sleep over its existence or non-existence (and I have to go earn it myself, anyway), but I will say at least this much--

This revision was not made for people who had already mastered it. It was made strictly to put it more in line with current RA standards (part of which is coverage, though that is admittedly subjective).

I don't actually like this version of the game given the many high quality hacks that exist, but I dove into this because I hated seeing so many tickets for such a beloved game, I knew I could spit out some basic progression that wouldn't really interfere with anything else already in place (or create too much redundancy, Locke's scenario excepting), and because I didn't want to see the worst case scenario happen (which would be demotion and total redo, which may never have happened, but I'm probably paranoid, and I'm confident that there's no real chance of that happening now, and there had been a few whispers of a possible chance maybe).

I was actually never going to touch this until someone jokingly called me out wondering if I would.

I understand and have no objections regarding the revision, it had no progression and some unwelcome concepts in RA standards, I'm glad and thankful you took up the work and care it needed

I just don't agree with "this revision was not made for people who already mastered", I don't say that for me (I even got the achievement already), I say that because it doesn't change that this set had been around for quite a lot of time, hundreds of players new and old delved into it already, it is a bit strange to either count on the fact that everyone will have a backup save or either make a whole new run for one 5 point achievement (yeah I know we can play without caring for achievements anytime we want, but that's not the point), more so considering the coverage is indeed subjective. I would consider the Awakening achievement enough to cover the spell mechanics, as it is the ultimate spell and you only get it through the end of the game.

But anyway, I have no intention of asking it to be demoted, as there's nothing wrong with the achievement per se and it is a positive addition for new players, I just wanted to give some resoning to the complaining side

Actually it looks like there are SEVERAL of these that are missable despite not being marked as such. Including the very first one.

"The Approach on Narshe"
"Shell-Shocked"
"Semantic Nonsense"
"Every Little Thing She Does is Magic"
"Stubborn Girl"
"River Rats"
"Seafood Soup"
"No Really, I'm Not A Thief"
"Anti-Runic"

These are each extra requirements on events that only occur once. And there are many more in the list that need to be marked.

lol You're probably right. They certainly didn't test them to make sure they're all properly unlockable. (Allo Ver, Siegfried, and Chupon)

i did not fight the "Over-Mind (Oversoul)" enemy in the ghost train, now im halfway trough the game and im afraid i lost the chance to get the "All rages" cheevo, is there any way to salvage this ?
